Oh wow, the quail and all the babies! Love how the roadrunner helped the lizard get some water (LOL). Just awesome, thank you so much for sharing all this amazing wildlife with us.
Awesome footage. A Gila monster even. When the rabbits were drinking at night I kept picturing a Great Horned Owl swooping down on them. That's a tough life having to be constantly alert like that. First time I've ever seen a snake drinking. Cool vid Jason.
This has to be one of the most incredible nature videos ever! The diversity of life that shows up in that one small frame of the watering hole is mind-blowing. Not gonna lie though, those wasps give me the heebie jeebies! 👀
That is some of your best footage and you've had some great stuff. But the variety of animals in this particular video clip is incredible! Thanks for taking the time and sharing. Almost feels like we're out there, and we we get to see all this. 😎
What a great collection of creatures! Love the crystal clear focus, the cool background and the easy access water. Have you ever noticed that the raven will drop its food in order to drink, sometimes taking the time to wash off that delicious lizard leg, but not the roadrunner- it manages to drink without dropping its dinner! I was nervous when only one quail chick came- and was relieved to see the rest arrive in short time. Wonderful video.
Thank you! Yes, I've had raven's drop their food in the water and retrieve it after they drank. Sometimes they don't retrieve it, and I find it floating when I check my camera..haha
FANTASTIC footage. I especially enjoyed the roadie and quail family. Have never seen a snake drink! Thanks for sharing this vital life sustaining spot.
@@JasonMillerOutdoors THANK YOU JASON! I love watching your content and seeing the AZ wild life as they should be 🐍🐝🐴🐿️🦌🐐🐏🐗🐻 it’s like we’re looking out a window
These are so fantastic! Never thought much about snakes around waterholes. The quail are precious of course, but all the other creatures are fascinating. Thank you.
Loved all of this footage, but certainly liked the Roadrunner with the antelope squirrel (i think thats what it is?) peeking over the rock in the background.
My observation is once people live around quail, almost without exception, they become permanently endeared to them, specifically the young. It tends to be a Western U.S. thing, and once it happens you hooked for life, lol. Even people who aren't into birds. Can't explain it outside the region...
Fantastic footage! I haven't seen that many baby quail in soooo long and was the roadrunner washing that lizard before it was his dinner 😅 I blocked off traffic once, on 92 by the river near Palominas, to make sure that the Gila monster I saw there got across the hwy without being hit
Nice capture of a variety of wildlife. The squirrel bombing the shot was funny.
Amazing footage! All the birds...especially loved the quail parents with their babies!!
P.S. When the chipmunk 🐿 photo bombs 💣 the roadrunner! 💖 💟 💕
I had a few surprises there, for sure! Haha. Thank you for watching...
Fantastic captures of the diversity of wildlife visiting the waterhole! Enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing! 👍

Fantastic video, never seen something like this
Thank you!
This is so cool!
Thank you so much!
I love how the roadrunner dips his lizard in the water like it’s a sauce. And was that raven eating a scorpion!?
I think the raven was eating a small bird or quail?
It sure was nice of the roadrunner to bring his lizard friend for a drink
Haha, there were 3 different times Roadrunners brought their lunch to the water.
Wonderful footage!!! Any idea what kind of snakes those were?
Coachwhip, black Racer, bull snake.
The Roadrunner dunking the lizard lol
I know, it's crazy...
Loved all of this footage, but certainly liked the Roadrunner with the antelope squirrel (i think thats what it is?) peeking over the rock in the background.
Thank you! The squirrel shot was a big surprise with the roadrunner...
Roadrunner ate the stinger too.wow wow
Those Roadysaurus are fearless...lol

Your right!
That and they sure are tasty. 🤤
You are so correct! I think it's because they are beautiful, peaceful and vulnerable creatures.
Awsome
Thank you!
Jason, you just have to dig the Gila monster!
Oh yeah, they have the coolest patterns and color.
Really great video!
Thank you!

Makes me wonder how many creatures get stung by the hornets.
Pretty yellow snake.
Yes, I've had a few this spring so far.
Loved this! Macro trail cams?
Thank you! Yes, I put a macro lens on my trail camera for Close-ups.
😊
Thank you so much!
Also, was that a scaled quail towards the end?
Gambel's quail
Always wash your lizards before eating 😇
Hahaha
Such a wonderful video. Is that a man made pond? It looks like it has concrete sides.
Thank you. Yes, I made the pond.
Tell us about your camera set ups?
Brand….durability….battery life…..thank you….
Suspect whiteflash with macro lens. Depends on how many videos I get, but I change batteries maybe every 2 1/2 wks.
Wow...only the first minute and totally captivated!
