Hey paz, ik i’m a little late on this but I REALLY need a new mindset when it comes to ranked, because I’ve been scrimming ow for about 2 years & idk if it’s a situational awareness thing or I trust my teammates a lot…. Or is it neither of these?
@@PieceOfCandyPS i just looked up this guide for that exact reason moiras kickin my ass left n right even when i get them low and im full hp they teleport away come back and beam me to death i figured theres something i'm missing in his kit.
I've been playing a TON of Lucio lately since, at least in super low ladder, he tends to perform better than brigitte in solo queue. Love being able to poke with the primary fire, crowd control with alt fire, and just keep the jams going
I’ve never played Lucio but I’m learning all the support characters so I can be useful to my team. Anyways the short story is that I thought his heal ability did no damage and that the green was only damage. Didn’t realize I was looking at it weong
Hey, It's really great that you're trying to learn all the supports, shows that you're a great teammate. But I'd focus on one or two supports so that your gameplay isn't spread across too many characters. You can press F1 in a match to check a characters abilities if you didn't know them beforehand
@@FireRedV3rsion although this is good advice; in general it’s very important to understand EVERY characters kit so that you can know what your opponents are using against you and what sort of plans they might be making based on their characters
It’s crazy cause I use to play zenyatta a lot on overwatch 1 but now all I use is Lucio on overwatch 2 I thought I would keep going with zenyatta 🤷🏾♂️he still is dope tho 💯
I generally prefer how it feels too, but I'm trying to learn without because there are some spots where you can do a one tick to duck under some obstacles and keep speed through doorways, which you can't do with the auto jump on release
I have a question, why do people use right click (when bound to jump) and then scroll wheel when jumping and do you use it? I'm talking about how people use right click to latch onto the wall then scroll wheel to jump off it. why not just use 2 right clicks instead of right click then scroll? it just seems useless
Because scroll wheel is just slightly faster than letting go of right click and clicking it again. Imagine you are still holding down right click on your wall ride and then just use your index finger to scroll down when you want to jump off. Or if you want to quickly latch to a wall and jump off to speed boost, you just use the scroll wheel because there are several inputs of “jump” within one scroll. Hope this makes sense.
He's not a healer. Even though he can pull the raw healing numbers, thats only because he heals everyone at the same time. he can hardly heal through chip damage besides Amp which only last 3 secs and is on a long cooldown. He's definitely an off support that just can't pair with another off support like brig or zen. Your team will die.
As a lucio main I definetly agree that he isnt suited for healing in general as his main value is his speed which is great for providing extra speed for generally slow characters especially tanks and he's also great for a speed support when you need to push, to retreat or to reach the objective faster, his healing suckass but does come in a clutch ig if you amp it up (and also his ultimate which is good and also comes in a clutch). Overall I'm still sadly gonna keep playing him as I have gotten used to him being so fast so much that other supports feel slow for me but I want to provide better heals so I'm trying my best (I've been a lucio main since day 1 afterall...)
Essentially brawl is a composition that wants to play very close together and close the gap between them and the enemy to deal damage. Think characters like Reinhardt, reaper, and lucio
''BEST GUIDE", literally everything you talked about was information taken from the internet. A guide is showing people how to play him not giving them what they can find by themselves.
I hope you all enjoy this new update!
Lucio can be pretty hard to grasp but is SO rewarding in the metas he is strong within!

I play main support btw
Lucio is ez
I hate that they nerfed Lucio’s self heal rather than the passive but other than that it’s so nice to have him back on top.
Until they inevitably add something that deems him utterly useless again :(
@@PAZswagger maybe they’ll ‘accidentally’ remove wallride’s speed boost for the third time.
It's basically impossible to 1v1 a moira with the self heal nerf, it's terrible

I'm new to overwatch and was hoping to watch a vid about getting good with Lucio. I'll be honest, I did not understand half of what you just said
Facts
He did say watch the 1st video
Lucio is a dope character and an amazing support I just need to get better with em
Remember to turn on backwards wall riding in the settings!
life saver
Didn’t even know I had to do this…thanks for the heads up!
backwards wallriding? damn i did not know thats a thing :|
Omg thank you. I was wishing that was a thing earlier
So helpful
I love your content man, and you’ve been helping me get better at playing support. Keep up the great vids haha.
Always happy to help, especially with Lucio, he can be super hard to get down 100%
Great vid bro bro
Paz always comes thruuuuuuuuu

I gotta be honest. I've been playing since early overwatch 1. Lucio is my most played. I don't think I will ever be good at this game.
Not with that attitude
Amazing video man keep up the good work!
Glad I could help out!
Al you have to do is to play passive and use your speed boost and the aim
an unpopular opinion i have is i enjoy the jump on wall release. ive had it on for so long that i can do some nasty roll outs.
edit: nevermind
Why did you comment this twice?

Love the Mario music
A robot lucio skin would be amazing
I'd go out of my way to save for that
watching this during a skirmish but i'm alone :)

Badass amiright
Lucio goes hard
i heckin love lucio (accelerandooooo)
I’m sorry that genji lol at 3:00 ish🤤🤤
What does the nerf penalise like i dont understand the nerf someone explain please
You don't receive as much healing from your AOE heals. If you did not play in the beta, you probably won't notice it much at all
Is aiming to hit your shots an important part as well?
Something that comes later, the other aspects are more important for getting a solid start.
ACCELERANDO
ACCELERANDOOOOO
Idk man i just went boing boing and jumped all around the map
What skin is that? Didnt even know it existed
2019 All stars skin. I don't think it is available anymore.
4:09 “brig-eat-uh” ? I thought it was just pronounced “bridge-it” 😭
what do you mean by brawl?

This is not a guide… explained bowing of how his kit actually works which I came to learn
Whats the méta in semipros
Zarya, genji, sojourn, baptiste, lucio
🙏🏻
Hahahahah I just watched your Lucio guide from 9 months ago, and this got recommended, what perfect timing 😂 thanks for the great content!
No problem!
