- We just couldn't help it. These little trucks are just neat and we needed to find more parts for our future build project. We're up to 2.5 Chevy Luv pickups now and it's time to start putting something together!
Here's the plan and an impromptu review of ALL of our projects.

Looks like a perfect vehicle to install a turbo charged 3.0L Mercruiser 4 cylinder in it. It's the same engine platform as the old Chevy 2.5L 4 banger probably what that has in it if it isn't a foreign 4 banger?
The Mercruiser 3.0L has the same transmission bolt pattern as a sbc so a th350 or a Saginaw 4 speed from a Chevy will bolt right to it.
If you're any good at fabricobbling then you might consider adapting a sbc head on it because it has the same bore spacing. One of those lessor expensive aluminum heads from the Bay of e would make some good power without the turbo.
