      Wait some time man start with something smaller to get to appreciate the raw devastating power of a big bore pcp...you dont start handguns off with a 50s&w so try to get accustomed to pcp's first. And the bulldog is A FIREARM and not a toy whatsoever. The thing is no plinker

    Just looking into PCP’s. Wary. Until I saw this. I’m sold. I’m ordering one as soon as it’s in stock. Very accurate. Plenty of power for deer and hogs, hell I’d trust in a fixed position for defense. Scary powerful.

    I'm not a big bullpup fan so I bought the Armada in .357 because of the bolt lever location.... No complaints... That going back to the butt the bulldog cocking mechanism is way too much movement for me in the woods... But I'll probably get one anyway... I own 3 Benjamins... The Matauder pistol carbine in .22 and a synthetic stock Marauder in .22 (my ratters)... It looks like you got the same package I did...Just different PCP...Great shooting bro... Stay safe and stay on target...You rock!

      Smg .22. Has a 100 pellet drum and is full auto. It takes approximately 8-9 seconds to dump fire the entire drum lol
      But if you're looking for full auto in a big bore currently outside of Hatsan there really aren't that many in a big bore caliber for airguns

    Love your vids, thanks for all the hard work.
    I have to say tho, some of these big bores leave a little to be desired in repeatable accuracy. I don't buy the whole longer dwell/lock time or recoil idea..
    I had a Sam Yang .50 that shot like this, until I finally discovered its Magic bullet, a 240g bullet I bought a mold for.. Lot of work, but would stack 3 shots within 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" @ 100y reliably.
    Maybe we just haven't found the magic ammo yet.
    but I have to be honest, after getting used to stacking 5 shot 50 yard dime-sized groups with my .30 Dreamline, I'm kindy picky now, lol..
    Debating what larger bore rifle I want to invest in next. Maybe the new Impact 35..
    Thanks Rick..

    "Did i miss the target" nahh, you put that slug through the same shot twice and you know it. Precision is the big draw for me to airgunning. Brilliant platform the Bulldog. Hatsan makes some killer PCPs too. Got a Hercules in a .45, with that qe shrouded barrel, tasty. haha.

    Hey Rick, love the video's! Looking for some advice on first time PCP rifle purchase. Mind made up I want a .357 caliber. Going to be hunting with the rifle...Michigan Whitetail and other smaller game. Normal shooting range I stick within is 50 to 75 yards max. Since I am just starting out so I have to purchase everything, ie tank, etc so I have a limited budget. I can get a Benjamin Bulldog hunter package deal for $899, normally $1099 to $1199...really seems like a pretty good deal. Or I go with the Air Force Texan .357 cal which outfitted about the same will cost me around $1200. Is the .357 Texan worth the extra $300+ for a PCP beginner just wanting to hunt?

    • @shooter1721
      @shooter1721  6 років тому +2

      MiTreasureHunter The bulldog would be fine for your purpose . Even at 100 yards we shot 1 inch groups with the Noslers 145 grain. The Texan is a great air rifle also , but I think the bulldog would just fine for whitetail @50 to 75 yards . I hope this helps .

    • @blackpowderpapa
      @blackpowderpapa Рік тому +1

      Hands down the 357 is absolutely a better round than the 457 no matter which bulldog you choose, it's going to be a great hunter rifle. If you're going to be out all day though, go with the 357, it will put anything down in North America and you're going to get several more shots per fill.

    • @jliswins9396
      @jliswins9396 11 місяців тому +1

      @@blackpowderpapa I wouldn’t say it will put anything down in North America. Now if we’re talking the Air Force Texan or the Umerex hammer 50 Cal. Then those will put down anything in North America. The Benjamin Buldoc only has 200 foot pounds of energy out the box with 145 grain Benjamin bulldog slug then you have the Air Force Texan and Umerex hammer that is pushing 650 to 705 ft. pounds of energy. So you’re definitely not putting anything down an North America with only 200 foot pounds of energy. You can use the bedroom bulldog for home defense, though any perpetrator that comes to the door will not be having a good night or day, depending on when they want to do their little shady crimes.

    • @blackpowderpapa
      @blackpowderpapa 11 місяців тому

      @@jliswins9396 I own all three and would bear hunt with all three without a question. I've seen the damage they do too elk I don't think a bear would be a problem. Anybody reading this Please do not buy the hammer it sits in the closet as I think it's pretty much worthless. Fails way too often in cold weather conditions. I appreciate your comment.

    You know Rick it's a really good video in the Benjamin Bulldog is very accurate but route to be a big bore airgun I would think the Nosler bullets are not that good out of it due to the fact that the Benjamin bulldog does not have the power to shoot those bullets well or the speed to give you the kinetic energy that is needed out of that bullet and the Nosler bullet there's not mushroom so you will not get a very good blood trail at all I wouldn't have thought that Benjamin would have had a better bullet made for their guns it's an accurate bullet but no blood trail I mean if you are deer hunting with this bullet

    Rick, I have a theoretical question that you might be able to answer. Assuming a sort of unlimited ammo supply, and a 6.8L 4500 psi tank, how many rounds could you successfully launch down range, at any given distance?

    Look if you had already shot the gun and compensate for known elevation changes that's not helpful and you admitted to doing so. I watched the video and called the last 2 before you pulled the trigger. Enjoy your free gun. Put a camera on that scope and don't play

    Homeboy's cameraman needs to milk him or put some pants on or something. At least give him a jacket.
