I've really only seen vertical distance in maps going down into basements/mazes or bunkers (not counting obstacles courses), so to see it being used upwards to this extent opens up new doors

No way, the ship at 4:08 is actually the ship from an old game called Red Faction: Guerilla. It is my childhood game though, and it brings me some nostalgia.

Basically a "gm_flatgrass" type map with river, space, sky transition and rocky 3D skybox. I miss a "gm_flatgrass" type building from this map.

Something that interest me is how, over the last few years gmod has had a noticeable leap in addon quality, with addons that break the known boundaries of the source one engine, to mods that incorporate lidar scanning technology in order to bring a real room into the game. It really makes me wonder if Sandbox will receive the same treatment or will fade out with the team apparently not wanting to grab the valve assets, which IMO is one of the main selling points of gmod back when all you had was the source models.

Is there an addon that bring back to life NPCs from dead body ? I mean even that NPCs that you can not use their ragdoll after death killing.
