I'm genuinely surprised that there are people out there who didn't like _Extraordinary Attorney Woo_ 💀The romance is secondary in the storyline. Even though I don't have to admit it, I actually had "screaming" moments at some of the cute romantic scenes. Beat me back then 🤷🏾♀️
Someone in the comments even said they didn't like _The Glory_ but that's their business 👀 Too gripping? Too gritty? Too *good* for you? 🙃
😏 Tbvh, it’s one of the most basic kdramas Ive seen and I’m not even hating.
Like I don’t get the hype. I started watching it and dropped it. Heard about the hype and decided to try again. I forced my self to finish it, this is after several naps in between. I eventually finished it after many trials and tribulations. Please it was basic.
I do agree that the lead actress was very good though. But this drama was a 6/10 at best and I’m being nice.
I love extraordinary attorney woo like soo much.
@@bees0la276 Hiiiii, I believe the reason for the hype is the fact that you don't get to see dramas that portray the role that was played by the female lead, especially in Korea or K-dramas just like the drama it's okay to not be okay. For me I loved both dramas.
I think because it was not a romance drama that's why she didn't like it. It was more about Woo Young Woo's growth and Junho was part of that growth. Romance was only later, a special kind of romance
I so so love extraordinary attorney woo! It gave me a different perspective on love that I see in most Korean movie. If they renew it, I will number 1 to watch it.
Hometown cha cha cha was such a beautiful watch…I’m rewatching it now and I feel exactly the same way I did when I first watched it. It literally pulled on my heartstrings 😭😭😭
KingTheLand was meant to be cheesy, predictable, rich boy poor girl kind of vibe. And it was good. They achieved it really. The love story was awwwwn worthy!
Yesssssss
Preach sista !!!! 😫 I absolutely loved it
They could have done it well. Others have and I can name like 10 but this one is just average. It wasn't bad though 🤷🏾♀️
@@nolilolittle3986 biko, pls, go on, name 10????
Finally!!!! Someone who ACTUALLY gets it!!!!
Celebrity's Chemistry was so loud, I screamed 😂😂
Loved it to bits mehn..
I agree with everything else except Extraordinary Attorney Woo. That was a very engaging drama, and the chemistry was solid. I found myself blushing 😊
“ Did the hotel prospaaaa?”😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is one of my favorite kdrama. I hope they make a season 2. The chemistry was great between the leads.
Exactly 💯
Issalie😂
I really liked EAW it had alot os surprises
Our beloved summer was so good....I don't agree on dis one😅
Extraordinary Attorney Woo was gooooodddd. Forget the chemistry, the story line was really good.
❤❤ Exactly, I LOVED it!!
@@amaka8086YES! 👏🏾 I've never met anyone who didn't love it so I guess we're in the majority 😂
The storyline was good, the acting was nice, the chemistry was bland and it felt like a rip off ( Good doctor)
Extraordinary Attorney Woo was excellent!! The story line was excellent.
Bless
My favorite too...Junho's love for Young Woo was cute.
Thank you❤
Coming from the nonsense Hollywood has been giving us lately, King The Land was my first Kdrama and gosh have I fallen in love!!! Its soooooo good, so healthy, puts you in your feels, you find yourself sneaking smiles at the couple, the friends, the Grandma, gosh!!!!
If all Kdramas are like King The Land, I'm hooked!❤❤❤
King the Land was so healthy... First non-toxic CEO romance. I admit I was expecting him to misbehave at some point
True, but it got draggy though, 16 episodes were too long, 12 would have been perfect
Not all kdramas are like king the land tho but there are very good ones. Find genuine recommendations
Same here
Lol. I think you might have not watched a lot that's why you loved it. I
I feel extraordinary attorney woo was mainly talking about autism and how it shouldn't stop people with the condition in
achieving goals
Ok for a non Kdrama lover, King the Land was a great movie. For me ooo, there were a lot of real life lessons in that movie.
Likeeee
I loved the fact that she built her own hotel🥹😂😭😭
I think the problem with Korean dramas these days is the second leads have the best love stories and more chemistry than the main leads, I think there is pressure on the main leads to be perfect and the second leads just get to be themselves
As in..... second Male lead be giving 100 percent Male lead energy 😂
You got it
Like in Business Proposal omg I loved the second leads their chemistry more. It was giving everything it should have!!
Exactly! Typical example is the “High Society “
@@adanneikengathat was what made me finish the series self. Ahn Hyo Seop isn’t exactly male lead worthy to me.
I enjoyed hometown cha cha, it was a nice refreshing rom com...it's something you want to watch after a stressful day
King the land?😲
Maraji I'll take no slander of that drama, kindly see more episodes for the following reasons:
1) They stuck to the plot despite the romance. FL: career focus ML: Hotel Legacy & Grandpa: abundant wealth
2) It was a comical relief for me😁
3) There was the absence of unnecessary romance drama (love triangle, parallelogram, all that nonsense)
I await your review
Exactly!. A very beautiful movie
I will not take it from anybody 😭😭😭 I love King the land🙏🏽😭😂😂
The comic was really comical ... I couldn't delete it
The Good/Bad Mother is sooo under hyped. I don’t know why no one’s talking abt it
I got bored 😐 only watched few episodes
I love the Good bad mother. It's comedic, tear jerking and will take you on a 🎢.
It was so good right?? I want the hype The Glory got to be transferred to The Good Bad Mother. Both are very good and have similar revenge arch ( I like The Glory more tho lol).
I love that movie🥺❤️
It took me forever to get through the 1st episode, but at like ep 3, I was hooked. I loved that show.
Actually, one of the reasons I like King the Land was cause they didnt trash their goals just cause they started dating.
The ML ended up making the hotel more employee centered and the FL went on to establish her own bed and breakfast to fulfill her concerige dream.
Thats rare for a kdrama. But yeah, the story is a sweet and basic love story. Other than the fact that they didnt break up.
I agree with see you in my 19th life, cause I couldnt even find it in me to root for them. Also, hotel de luna, the only hype that it met for me was IU's dressing
The first part you wrote about King the land is so true eweeeeeeeee. I loved it more cause of that
IU’s wardrobe was a killer, fr!! 😂
I looked forward to ever dress she wore, she found every avenue to spend and show her money.
See you in my 19th life was so annoying and boring,Tried to give it a chance to make it to season 5 just deleted everything in the middle of it.The FL and her forces attitude was annoying
Hotel de Luna was interesting because of the supernatural but romance NOPE
Home Town ChaCha is extremely good drama. I found it very realistic with how the pacing and character development was done. Each character no matter how tiny had an important message to pass. It wasn't only about romance there were far more important lessons to take from the drama. It was worth every hype. I can't believe she said standards are low in relation to this drama. Makes no sense.
Honestly. It’s literally one of my fave dramas🥹
They did a lot of things right
Did she mention it. Let me stop watching the video then😂😂
Exactly, it was one of the first dramas I watched and I enjoyed it so much that I got sucked into kdramas
I actually loved it
One of my favorite tooo
Only watched 2 episodes of see you in my 19th life and I was like 'no I'm not doing this '
First of all, let me defend Extraordinary Attorney Woo. It is not about romance. It is about how a girl with autism navigates life. It's an amazing Korean drama. It has one of the best storylines. I don't want to see anyone come for it ever!!!
😂 Mehn we’re plenty that didn’t like it. We didn’t say anything because of people like you who loved it and carried it on your heads😂
@@bees0la276 Omo, I am still going to carry it on my head. That storyline has never been done in South Korea before. The main character was amazing.
I think the story was amazing, I liked the series too, but I had to admit the chemistry was bland
I think the chemistry was not even necessary, but the storyline was really really good
I loved Extraordinarily Attorney Woo. One of the best Kdrama for me. It evoked so many emotions.
Please do KDramas that are worth the hype 😂😂😂😂
Yes, plz
Yes pleaseee
And Strong Woman Dong Bong Soon better be on that list 😂
Yes, Crash landing on you
😁😁😁😁
I mostly agreed with you on most of it because i also get bored easily with so much to watch but i absolutely loved Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Its one of the few series i actually sat through and finished at once. I think maybe for me, i enjoyed it first as a look at how an autistic lawyer navigates her way through the legal profession. The romance was secondary to me but also sweet. I particularly enjoyed her interactions with her colleagues, father and friend. It was a breath of fresh air for me.
Pls watch mad for each other I promise you laughter 😂😂😂
I’m a King the Land stan! It was my first K-drama so it has my loyalty forever plus it was so beautiful and healthy. Found myself giggling and rooting.
Love love the friendship they built (the 6 siblings)😂
It’s a super cheesy romcom and it’s worth the watch!
That means you just started watching kdramas

King the land has chemistry and the stroyline is interesting
I agree with you completely on that Hometown cha cha cha- it was giving forced love chemistry- it took a lot from me abeg😂
A LOT ?!!! 😂😂😂😂 Pele
Yes o-I could not even finish the series😅
Mehn I watched it while it was airing and fast forwarded though most of the side characters stories. Such a rubbish show.
Every week, I’d literally watch it and write a long post to my kdrama friend just shitting on the show 😂😂😂
Me too, I was grossly disappointed!
Woo! I had high expectations ehn but it all felt too contrived Jesus Christ
You should only watch King the Land if you are a sucker for top tier romance and tropes, the romance is literally the plot of the drama so if you don't like it then you probably don't like romcoms
THissssss❤
I agree❤
Gbam!!!!!
I love watching all types of kdrama, comedy, crime, romance, frictional, historical, horror n so on😊😊 I'm a biggg fan of kdrama
I liked Hometown Cha Cha Cha because of the communal living not necessarily because of the Romance between the protagonists. I just loved their sense of community.
She's Right about See you in my 19th life sha. The chemistry felt so off and forced.
I liked King the Land sha, it was dreamy😂
Hometown chacha is for matured minds, really nice movie….
💯
I really love the setting of the movie it’s so serene❤
I loved it too
Hometown cha cha is a healing soul drama. Sum dramas r not really based on romance..
I love hometown chachacha 😂😂😂 the villagers were hilarious.
K-drama make too much effort in putting up “romance” they miss the necessary nuances that show chemistry
It’s boys before flowers for me today and forever I will never get tired of watching that movie 😊
Life is not all about romance ma’am.
Extraordinary you was mainly about autism awareness, you don’t expect to see the normal usual romance you see in normal people… because she isn’t normal. ❤ I loved it. It’s a really touching movies that changed my perpective about people who are different.
It will even take time for the autistic to allow love, not to talk of someone that grew up with her dad only, she should watch good doctor(an autistic doctor) it took them 3 season before Shawn finally allowing people touch him
Unpopular opinion: I liked Hometown Cha Cha Cha 🙈🙈
I acknowledge that the two main leads in Celebrity had chemistry. No doubt. But i think for me( for me oh) I wasn’t into the guy. He’s fine oh (no doubt there either) but his character just wasn’t for me. So their love story didn’t intrigue me that much. But i have to admit their chemistry definitely existed
Completely agree. I wish his character was written differently but the chemistry was definitely mature.
"I'm the standard " Gosh Maraji 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Dr. Romantic the best korean series of all time especially season 1, Maraji if you say otherwise I will fight with you😅😅
I love extraordinary attorney woo, not for the chemistry though... But for the law part. I love how they were looking into cases and all but the whales was not necessarily TBH
It is… almost all autistic people are really attached to one thing and it’s like their life depends on. They exaggerated it but it’s really like that.
From the start of the video and the genres that she likes you can already tell that she won't love heartwarming kdramas like hometown cha cha cha and ones that are slow paced.
Personally for me I love kdramas that are homey and the love between the leads is realistic as compared to ones that will raise my BP which I don't have😂😂😂
Yea, she isn't into slow paced dramas
I get what you're saying and I agree. Me I'm somewhere in between... I like dramas, nothing too crazy but it should be well paced with no too much dragging😅
This is me.. I love Kdramas that are acted in the rural areas
😂😂 the fact that you said realistic is funny
@@choiceoliver8668You mean historicals, Joseon era dramas?
They will come at you ooo😂😂
I feel u
I also love watching their thriller and suspense and fantasy, they are really good at it
I’m with you on everything!!!!😹😹😹😹😹😹 e dinnur give at all oo.
Everything is on point, like you were reading my mind!😭🤣🤣
Also, hometown cha cha cha, the reason why i liked it was becuase of the dialogue. it was real. i loved the adlibs, the banter (reminded me of reality, mahn i loved it), the freshness of it. it was like a breath of fresh air kinda show. i don't like trauma angles at times, and this one i didn't really like it per se probably because of the elongated suspense, but i was glad when it was FINALLY sorted out. whew. kdramas and their suspense in revealing the whole trauma tho. msche. but i actually quite liked HCCC. i suggest you give it a try beyond the third episode, if you haven't yet
Omo See You In My 19th Life I’m not gonna lie was a bit dry in the chemistry department lmao. What helped me actually finish the series was the plot. The storyline to me was quite interesting and it was just sad that they only had 12 episodes.
King The Land is a comfort kdrama through and through. I feel like the average predictable storyline was exactly what they were going for and they hit it spot on. I knew this before watching it and that’s why I found it interesting. Besides, the chemistry of the two leads (Lee Junho and Im Yoona) was GIVINGGGGGG!!!
King the Land was IT
Exactly
King the land is very good
i loved love it,I have watch it like 20 times
The chemistry,plot,supporting cast was mad
Tbh!
See you in my 19th life was a drag,
I only finished it cause I wanted to know what the end will be .
Episode 6 and I was still lost😅
Left it for dayssss and got back to it after I finished another one I started.
Yeah, see you in my 19th life was honestly a drag, I still haven't finished it, I love both actors but the chemistry is really lacking
my beloved summer, is one of my favorite kdramas…. I love to the point I have rewatched it like 10times
The chemistry on Celebrity was a mature one. You don't have to know there's chemistry just because theyre holding hands and doing love sms 24_7
King The Land has entered my list of comfort kdramas. It was so beautiful. The way the characters were written was so nice. They also focused on the growth and labour laws in the hotel.
The chemistry between the leads was teww much. I felt like I was intruding on them sometimes 😂
It was soooooooo beautiful
I agree
I'm about to watch this, but all I've heard is that it's boring.
@@bitsofblessI would say you should watch it. I’m not a k-drama person but I totally loved it.

King the land is on my watchlist for after my exams because a few people have recommended it to me and I watched the first few minutes and i like it. Sometimes, the regular common storylines can be very interesting too.
It is.... and it is relaxing and soothing to watch.

Ohhh😂😂😂 Maraji just be making me laugh❤❤❤
LOL 🤣. I was about to watch the video but as soon as I saw in the comments that you included my Extraordinary Attorney Woo in your list, I quickly pause am. I no fit agree with any list that has that drama on such a list 😂. That drama is the bomb! Like every other person said in the comments, it was never about the romance but promoting autism awareness. Even the romance part was awesome cos everyone deserves love, no matter who or what they are.👌🏾1000000/10 for me ✅
Totally agree with u.its was more of autism awareness and law...not abt romance..woo was 💯 for me
I did not like King the land too but Attorney woo… ahh Aunty Maraji 😅
It was the bomb❤️
I totally can relate... you really said what's on my mind
Please more of theseeeee and recommendations too😂😂😂😂😂😂. Some peoples head will be comoting smoke right about now, LOVE IT!!🤣
King the land was meant to be cheesy, sweet, and heart warming as well and it met all the expectations. I also fell in love with the song I even had to go search for it and download the song “confess to you”❤
As for home town cha cha cha I actually cried and that’s like the second k drama I cried when that old granny died
I really cried
And aside from their romance it had funny moments that made me laugh it was definitely not a 10/10 but it was okay for me. Especially the love that existed between the people in the community
Omoo this my typing long oo
They suppose incorporate vn in youtube
These are my favorite drama
1. Empress ki
2. Defendant
3. Signal
4. Reborn Rich
5. Doctor Prisoner.
Maraji you are killing me🤣🤣
Thank you for doing this
I've been bothered cuz i thought i was the only one that thought so about some of those movies 😂
I personally think it's time to explore narratives that prioritize personal growth and dreams over repititive romantic entanglements. We yearn for a fresh approach and departure from the norm. Romance shouldn't take up the whole story. These days It'll take me days to find a kdrama that'll keep me invested 😢
I think King the land did that. The FL didn't let herself get all lost in ML's goal but moved herself.
But what you said is definitely an issue kdramas have. These days, I'm moving to cdramas cause in that area at least, they're performing better
I agree 💯 No K drama has hit the mark for me yet. What happened to movies like 2 Worlds😊
Yes!
Exactly my thought. I'm currently off Kdrama's because I can't find one to keep me invested. Omo 🥲😭😭
Thats one of the reasons why I really liked Vicenzo and can watch it over and over again. The chemistry was great, and the romance was just hinted at, that's all. The main plot was a whole different thing, and it was stuck to through out the series.
People who don’t like hometown cha cha definitely have a genre of kdrama they don’t fancy.
It means they won’t love series like My libration notes, our blues, reply 1988, 2521, thirty nine e.t.c
Trust me, these are gems. Series that keep you in your feelings and in line with one’s emotions
Exactly
Not true tbh
I'm obsessed with My Liberation Notes, but i couldn't get into Hometown Cha Cha. I just can't get into VERY NICE GUY VIBES.
I don't really agree I've watched he town chat cha cha I only managed through because the ml was handsome but I loved reply 1988 I haven't watched the other ones you mantioned but yes I dropped 2521 because it was a sad ending they didn't end up together
Hell no! I don’t think Hometown cha cha cha belongs in the category of those series. You are categorizing it with slice-of-life movies and it didn’t fit one bit. Please, just don’t.
I swear, that celebrity drama was a killer, I so love it🤭
YOU ARE ON POINT ‼️‼️‼️‼️
I think you should give King The Land a chance. The story line makes sense, and you'll get hooked at a point.

Apart from the Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I totally agree with you and your picks. Maybe king the land should not have had as much episodes as it did sha. Also yeah, the chemistry between the leads in "celebrity" was intense, i actually wanted them to do more 😅

King the land was actually interesting 😊
I’m glad someone is speaking my mind on “see you in my 19th life” I was irritated watching the movie, It was more annoying that people hyped it.
I so much loved celebrity
I think Maraji is my kind of person, we share same opinions on kdrama and I love it😍
I think you're actually right about king the land..... that story line has been told like a billion times starting from boys over flowers but I guess the reason why it was popular and I liked it was because of the cast. They are just to good looking to ignore
Yesss my dearest is soo goood!!!
Extraordinary attorney woo is lovely. The story line was awesome
Ikr that did everything amazing till the last episode and all the plots isn’t about love and you learn a lot from it too
Maraji if you’ve not watched “something in the rain” please do. The chemistry is top tier 😊
This "something in the rain" has been my best so far. I have repeated it like twice. Please recommend another like it. Or "The smile has left your eyes"
Really? Is it interesting? Wanted to start watching it but didn't because I don't know both of the leads and because nobody ever talks about it.

Currently watching Hotel del Luna and I honestly like the plot. I do understand Maraji’s point about them focusing so much on the main characters’ love arc. On the other hand, a hopeless romantic like me will still be glued🤣🤣🤣
I watched it twice!!!
Hotel Del Luna was a good series. The storyline was intriguing, and the characters were well-rounded. I think they had good chemistry, it was not a romantic one but they were very fond of each other, and that showed really well.
I've not watched any of the others because I am not a big fan of romance-centered KDrams. I have been watching more action, thriller, and crime.
You should watch Blood Hounds. It's a really good action, crime thriller series and I know you will like it. Not a drop of romance in it by the way.
@marthakumi I agree hotel del Luna is definitely worth the hype, I loved how each episodes brought about different stories and yeah their chemistry was all the but it was comfortable and not awkward
I've watched bloodhounds too...but that movie is a 8/10 for me cause I don't like the ending
Bloodhounds is sooooo gooooddd!! It’s premised on an issue that’s actually dominant in their country and is so realistic. We don’t always succeed on the first try and in the war of good against evil be sure that good people will also lose a lot, it’s a two-way thing, just as it takes two to tango.
@@Lessy_PI was also so pained, particularly when the knife-skilled guy that had a wife that was expecting a baby was attacked with his family. Bad things happen to God people too, But it was a great movie.
