Hi Alec I recall you talked about heated scuba vests a while back, different unit I guess. now if there was only an app to activate that tree stand elevator lift device? Your hat reminded me of a story, my dad always wore one like it but my mom hated it and referred to it as "an idiot hat" but at least his ears and bald spot were warm. Btw I'm not sure if is just my system but I think the microphone for recording is mumbled or noisy.
Take care and stay warm ,Owen m

A portable elevator to my tree stand, Take My Money!!! The audio was all my fault for shooting a selfie without my lapel mic.

Oh Alec, you’re no daisy, you’re no daisy at all! 😊 sitting in wait for a northern whitetail in 8.6 F (-13c). I’m south of your southern border. Looks like great products. Especially for us more “seasoned” hunters. Keep that core heated so the extremities have a chance to be! Hope you harvested one. Those cedars are pretty good natural scent cover.

I've never had luck with heated socks. I fly fish around lake Ontario year round and the water is damn cold. What i found to work excellent are neoprene booties. I put a thin nylon dress sock against my skin, then the neoprene bootie, then those go inside the wader boots which are also neoprene, then inside my wading boots. The extra bottle close to my skin traps the hot air from my body's natural heat. I've fished for 10 hours in near freezing water and only ever had the tips of my toes get a chill toward the end of the day. The neoprene booties I got are Simms brand and we're about 20 dollars. I'll never fool with a battery or wires again in the cold.
