My favorite song of all time🙌☠🖤🤘🧝♂
Deliverance Live at Shepherd's Bush 2003 and Ghost of Perdition Live at Red Rocks are both must watch performances👏
Deliverance at Shepards Bush Empire is really good and i think you would really enjoy Burden but the studio version. :)
So the way he sings, the hard core growling in his vocals doesn't that blow out your vocal chords out eventually? The guys that sing like that must really take care of vocals and throat. I absolutely love the music, big Metallica fan here. Sounds like Satan is singing. Awesome reaction Rory and thank you Dan for this CRAZY REQUEST. I DID ENJOY IT!! 😊🩷🤘✌️
It's harder to learn how to do than it is singing Opera for a lot of people. It takes a metric ton of talent. But once you get it, it's easier on the voice than so called "Normal" singing and easier on the voice as well. Because you can't do it unless you're totally relaxed and the actual vocal cords are super relaxed and protected. This is much harder to learn to do well than regular singing because most people can talk. Which when done right regular singing mimics regular talking. This takes muscles you didn't no you had that don't even use the vocal cords so it turns out easier on the voice over all. Check out Jinjer.

@paulmayden7344 that voice is coming out of her mouth???? WOW!!THATS INCREDIBLE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION, I APPRECIATE YOU EXPLAINING TO ME. THAT IS INSANE!!! 😊🩷🤘✌️YOUR AWESOME!!
@@paulmayden7344 Good info!
Sure, no worries! Tatiana has even better songs that show off her skills with Jinjer. Metal singing probably is the most chanllenging to master. Just like the music. If Bach or Beethoven were alive today it's for sure they'd be in Metal bands. It's the genre that demands the most musical skill in all facets. Here's another one. this is Courtney LaPlante from the band Spiritbox. The technique is similar to Tatiana from Jinger and Opeth. But she can also add her vocal chords underneath the growls. They work totally seperate so again, they are not harming their vocal chords in the least. But it take a lot of work to figure out how to do this safely. Here. check out Spiritbox. ua-cam.com/video/zMnfkW9UZc4/v-deo.htmlsi=iA84KvhHdOHrTKfU@@laurawatters914
If you do it with proper technique, no, it’s perfectly fine on the vocal chords.
Demon of the Fall! 👌
Deliverance Studio version next would be awesome to see!
Don't get me wrong, I love them live! But imho the first impression of the song is sooo much better on the album, because of the high production quality, so I'm always suggesting to listen to it in the studio version for the first time :)
🔥🔥❤Opeth❤🔥🔥
Thrilled to see you back with more Opeth!
This go round I'm subscribing with hope you'll do more.
That being said, here's a suggestion for your next one: Deliverance, live video at Red Rocks. ua-cam.com/video/oIjAXkwrE5k/v-deo.htmlsi=Y3TPL_wh3Pmls2Dq
Their song Deliverance should be next, so Rush YYZ like in the intro, you can tell where they got the idea. Also the outro, wow...
I agree. Rory needs to hear some Martin Lopez on the drums.
Martin was such a good fit, he had the feel for the band @@mace2tuRnt
I like how you laugh when cool shit happens. I do that too.
Wow , c'mon yeah 🤘🎸 Heavy , very good , wonderful yeah 🔊🎛Awesome thank you Rory 😊👍👌👏🏻
What a compliment!!!! …. you gave to Metallica 😊
Just from your reaction to this one, I can already see, you can skip all other recommendations like Ghost of Perdition or whatever, and go straight to Heir Apparent or Deliverance. Heir Apparent is straight up headbang territory.
If you heard the album version, it's much better
