Louis de Funès - L'homme orchestre, 1970 Filming Locations are The Alpes - Maritimes and the large avenue by the sea is "La Promenade des Anglais" in Nice.
What a selection of cars! The Miura, the 124 Coupè, a MGB with a Surrey top, a Mercedes fintail, a Citroen DS, a BMW neue classe, a Peugeot 204 cabriolet, a Giulia Spider and not a SUV or a MPV in sight! The world was definitely better then
Three points: 1. Am I the only person that would drive ANY of the cars shown? 2. Hell, for the 124 coupe, I'd wear the red leisure suit, too! 3. Thanks for the upload.
The 124 in the film is an AC, which in British terms would be a Mark 1, built 1967-69. Then came the BC (Mark 2) with double headlights 70-72, finally the CC (Mark 3) 73/74, with the strangely-designed grill. Mine is a BC, bought new by my father.
What a great clip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What movie is that from? That is hilarious! The Lambo Miura is just drop dead gorgeous, and so far ahead of it's time! Truly the greatest Lambo of all time. I'd chop of several body parts to have one....I'd keep the driving bits of course!
The Fiat 124 Coupe was such a pretty car! In addition, it's quite a shock to see a 1st-generation Mustang GT scurrying around in Nice in the 1960s!

And always out-running that white hardtop MGB ! By the way, where is the mountain road ? I'd love to go driving there in my BC1.
@remoapeter Probably somewhere in the Alpes-Maritimes. Look at IMDB dot com film locations. BTW what is a BC1?
A Coupe' molto beni!!
What's the title of the movie???
oww yes!!.!
Hehe.. 🙂
Beutiful cars. I'd own any of them, anytime.
By they way, what does the guy in a red suit say at the end? I can't speak neither French nor Dutch...
I like the black Mustang...
FIAT HAD TO WHIP IN FRONT OF LAMBORGHINI TO KEEP AHEAD
Not real Miura, but still great.
