- A demonstration of pretty much all features of this DJ CD player. Made by Lead for DJResource 2006, there where not that much product review videos around.
I show you all features of the CDJ-1000MK3, but you could also look at this as a generic Pioneer CDJ demo video as most of the functions work on most of the Pioneer CDJ players.

I'll show you around in all the functions that the Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 has, this is a professional DJ CD Player that was the industry standard player.

Just bought a pair of these and been searching for videos on them for the last few days. This one never showed up in the searches but is one of the best I’ve seen. It’s all fairly straightforward but need to get my head around how the sad card stores and recalls things. I’m 17 years late but thanks for the video man 👍🏻
Glad you like it, just insert the card and when storing (pressing memory) for the Cue point it will be stored on that card. If you press memory while a Loop is playing you will store a loop instead. There is a max of 10 point (cue/loop/or combination of them) per CD.
Really good work man, have allready a pair of them and love them truley, combined with the DJM-800 it´s the best set i´ve ever owned, no doubt..4 sure!

Apart from missing USB input for pendrives, what features does it lack, compared to basic modern CDJs? I'm a newbie
There is a lot of differences in between de generations of CDJs, each newer model performing faster and offers more features.
CDJ-1000xx - CD players
CDJ-2000xx - CD/Media Players
CDJ-3000 - Media player

Just tried it on my MK1s and MK3s but works only on the MK3s
just shows how indestructable they are ever played a t a party and some1 else plays on ur decks, with these u u can relax and not worry chill winstarn
How do you play music on them, CD disk or USB or lapot. I'm looking into buying a set of these
On cdj-1000 there is no usb input so they can only.play CD

Can you connect them to a laptop for djing ?
Yes you can connect them to a laptop for djing, you could even use them with DVS discs if you want. You might get a better experience with a newer player, but it does work 😁

Can you play music from the sd card?
No it is not possible to play music from SD card on a CDJ-1000, this is introduced when the CDJ-2000 was launched.
What SD card do they use? Where can I get them? 👍😁
The CDJ-1000MK3 accepts SD cards of maximum 32GB, formatted as FAT32 (MS-DOS FAT). You can buy any SD card smaller than 32GB, you can find them pretty easy online or in your local computer/electronics store.

It is suppose to act like the modern CDJS. Can the CDJ remember to load the Cues and Loops ?
@@OdiWanKanobi It does not work like a modern CDJ. You put MP3's in folders on the SD and browse the tree structure. It also stores waveform and cue/loop information for CDs in separate folders. But it is a long way from what you see around nowadays, these models are more than 13 years old now in 2020.
Ok, I was wondering if this will be good kit for a studio environment, where I can practice, record and engineer my DJ sets.
What are the limitations? Have this units been tested with the newer 32 gb cards?
No they are not tested as these units are not around that much anymore ;)

yes in 2006 there was UA-cam, but with a lot of limitations (max length of video etc). Thanks for watching !
what is a pair of these worth?
That is very hard to tell. The CDJ-1000MK3 had a new SRP of around 1500 euro, but it is a model of (now) 3 generations ago (CDJ-20000 followed it up, and the 2000 is now superseeded by the CDJ-3000.
You can find them second hand good condition..about 200€
