He's a thorough phyco monster I can't bear to watch poor yasmeen being treated like this any longer. He's a vile man in every way & the sooner he gets what's coming to him the better.
Gaslighting goes on for months and months (years even). It's not pleasant to watch but that's kind of the point. Coercive control relationships are a slow burn and I'm glad Corrie is reflecting that. Yasmeen's trapped and prob won't get the Police involved because of the risk. It may take another character to realise what's happening and take action. I don't get why so many viewers are complaining about this storyline being dragged out. It's realistic!
Because the longer it lasts in show, the more people get mad, good story lines need to wrap up at the right moment not go on for to long to where people lose there interest in it. I mean Coronation street already has enough nasty things in it every damn show, people are tired of it.
Geeky Bee Exactly this kind of abuse is growing and so many women don’t recognise it has abuse. It maybe painful but it may wake someone up who is experiencing this or doing it. @@RomanHistoryFan476AD Not me, if anything I get mad when storylines pop out of nowhere and disappear too soon. Life is full of nasty things and this is one of them and I think Corrie are doing a perfectly good job of representing it.
@@StitchMeAwkward For the moment yes, but you have to be careful with the soaps, they sometimes go over the top and keep the storyline going for so long that it over stays it welcome. Showing how abuse goes on and works is fine but sometimes they keep it going on for so long that you just start to pay less interest in that story. Some people when they come home and relax don't want to suffer for months upon moths of the same story line crawling along, I mean when the person is caught they seem to always get away it and it goes on for another several months. We need some happy endings sometime to inspire hope in people and offer light at the end of the tunnel. I mean Eastenders has just thank god got rid of that annoying Phil for a while, still playing gangster and hardest man on the square at his age is ridiculous. might as well rename the show The Mitchell's at this point as it turned into some cheap budget gangsta show focused only on those imbreds.

The parallels between the way Geoff talks to Yasmeen, and the way Amber Heard talked to Johnny Depp in her recording...it's so freakish. Yeah but they do tend to stretch story lines out to long that interest is lost in them, you can't expect the audience to watch it every episode you need to end in well while you still got the audience on the edge of there seats. Anyway all these Soaps lose realism a long time ago.
