I just rewatched the Flightradar24 replay. It looks like it was Winair 811 rejected takeoff @ 1518 that led to the series of events. Both the Gulfstream and KLM A330 had to circle back around.. (Another small plane did depart right after Winair vacated the runway, and before the Gulfstream landed.) 🤔

9 hour flight from AMS took a bit longer. 😉 Had similar situation: SXM was "closed" my and KLM flight had to circle / wait.
The most fun the pilots had on that flight 🤣
