Peter David's X-factor is one of my favorite runs in comics, he took all these under used heroes, who had been around, then ignored or just dropped and made them one of the best teams in comics. Madrox may have been the worst person on that team, yet is still better than most modern mutant. One of his best stories for me was one where one of his dupes was killed, it was a very powerful moment, that kind of messed him up for awhile afterwords. Videos like this are bitter sweet, they bring in all the great memories of the old characters, but also the realization at just how badly modern Marvel is handling these properties. They used to be so great. Yet now, when an issue is good, it's just better than the rubbish they usually write, but pale next to the old stories. :/
Knowing where the original is depends on the writer. The other dupes can replicate but they cannot absorb, only Jamie "prime" can absorb. Unless one dies, then he gets the sensation and a hint of those memories and pain but the body cannot be reabsorbed.
That's actually pretty cool. The concept suggests all kinds of interesting plot directions. I mean, imagine a conflict between all the duplicates where they fight for dominance, sort of like having an actual physical set of split personalities that resent each other.
something like that happen on X-Factor vol. 0(imo, the best non crossover xmen comic ever), when one of the duplicates try to kill Madrox. 4 issues to start Xfactor vol.3, my favorite Xmen series.

Multiple Man is one of my favourite mutants his powers are cool
Sounds like the Shadow Clone Justu
This was the mutant power I ALWAYS wanted! To be able to experience so many lifetimes at once!! 🤯🤯🤯
One of the best marvel characters, hope he gets more runs.
You forgot that his action figure is coming out
HAHA!! Yeah, this would have been a great place to advertise that 🙃
My favorite Xman . He's so underrated
Can wait for his book to come out.
Underrated power
So true if it was Japanese manga we would have had anime about him by now.
i really want the ability of self duplication and teleportation
He might be a juggalo
So to be clear, can his duplicates merge with each other and also replicate? And do all of them intuitively always know who the “original” one is?

That could happen, we've seen similar to that.
