FYI, attaching the parachute snap swivel on a shock cord loop closer to the base of the droid will ensure the chute gets "pulled" out of the nose cone. Depending on it falling out of the nose cone is a hit or miss proposition.
Nice day for launches!!! Cool to see the new shuttle. Good choice for the B-6-4. Sad to have a hard landing for the R2-Q5. Hopefully not too much to fix or replace the fins.
Overall a great day! I’m surprised how well the shuttle flew on a B. Mine barely made it that high on a C, but then again, I had the weight of an altimeter onboard. Sorry about the R2 flight. Same thing happened to my Bullet Bobby maiden flight. I learned that the chute must be super loose in the nosecone in order to “fall out” on ejection. The Challenger 1 flight didn’t appear. Editing glitch I suppose. Been there done that. LoL Zenith did it’s job! Good flight. Thanks for sharing another fun video!
Nice launch day!! May have to get yourself a new R2 kit when one shows up on ebay to get some new/spare fins, although it looks like you can put your fins back together. Your R2-Q5 is a very cool looking version of the R2 droid. The video on Challenger launch is missing. That's a nice park for launching.
I wanted to launch on eclipse day too. Hell I planned on it, but it was too windy. Well as the eclipse started and by the time the fullest point here, the winds died right down. I feel cheated, lol I am glad you got out to launch, kinda figured you would Keith. Too bad about your Droids fins. Easy fix though. I like that challenger 1. Reminds me of my old Recon 1. I wish I could one.
Oh no How Sad ,(PARACHUTE DIDN'T OPEN )....ON OUR ROCKETS WE WERE GOING TO TRY A PIECE OF ALUMINUM FOILD THEN BLAST CLOTH THEN THE PARACHUTE. (SO THE ALUMINUM FOILD IS FIRST INTO ROCKET ,SO ITS BETWEEN PAPER FOILD AND TOP OF ENGINE POP .STAGE 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s so awesome that your wife is supportive and goes with you to your launches!!👍
Yes she's a good sport about it

Thanks I'll look at that. Wondering if that 5 second delay played a part. Last time I had a 3 sec delay.

Thanks. Should be and easy fix on the fins. Right a B6 as a test flight for the shuttle. Didn't want to go to high
Glad the space shuttle flew well and nothing got broken. Cool. Flew straighter than I thought it would. Nice! Ouch on the R2-Q5.
Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for model rocketry. Your video allows me to vicariously participate in the hobby.
You're welcome and thanks for tuning in 🚀🚀🚀

Ahh the Challenger 1 was missing. 😮Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks. I'll repair those fins and keep going. I'll keep an eye out for another R2 though. Right I missed the clip during editing

Enjoy your videos. Nice flights. I had the Tie Fighter as a kid but never got it to fly right.
What happened to the footage of the Challenger One?
I missed adding the clip. But it's up now as a separate video. Star Wars and Estes had a ball they made everything
@@modelrockets3215 Thanks for letting me know. I'll watch the other clip next.
Nice flights. Sorry to see the R2-Q5 crash, but at least it's not too bad!
Exactly not to bad. Easy Fix for the most part
Was great to see the Shuttle fly well on the first try , nice! Hope you will post some more flights of it!
Thanks. I will hopefully film it better. I'll bring it put again for sure.
Don't forget to check for missing tiles & foam strikes. :)
Roger that!
