1:00 Launch attempt 1: Scrubbed. Reason: RSLS Abort (Redundant Set Launch Sequencer). 1:29 Launch Attempt 2: Launched. Landing caused significant damage to the orbiter due to a late PreFlare/Flare by the Mission Commander. Orbiter was repaired at the OPF. 4:23 Launch #2 Attempt 1: Launched. Flight Failure caused by the failure of the SRB & ET separation pyrotechnics. Orbiter failed to reach orbit, crew were unable to bailout of the descending orbiter. Ended in a Loss Of Crew and Vehicle event.(LOCV)

Happy New Year! I have been watching your channel this year and it has re-lit an old flame. When I was a youngster I built and flew model rockets. But as with most people life took me in another direction. You brought me back. I'm 66 years old and have started back building model rockets again. Thank you.

Is that vaccuform machine big enough to made a mold of the main body of the orbiter and the bottom? I have an old kit but the pieces are very brittle. I want to create stronger duplicates to repair my fleet of four orbiters.

I was able to score 2 of those quinstar rockets (out of production for a while now) after seeing one of your previous videos flying it. Got it built and flew it in Nov. Went very well and can't wait to fly it some more.

Enjoyed your videos as always! I bought a CATO-damaged Omega online (eBay), and your efforts have inspired me to invest in some BT50 body tubes & thrust rings to re-build the first stage burnt from the inside out. A great classic!

Great flight! Loved the camera views! I keep thinking of how to stop the rocket or the camera from swinging wildly during recovery. I have the same issue with the Astrocam. It even spins badly on the way up. Merry Christmas!

Nice flight, Keith! I usually fly my models either in the morning or later afternoon to avoid the sun being straight up in the sky while you’re trying to squint looking for your rocket.

I had a Scissor Wing Transport when I was young. I had more fun with that rocket than any other rocket. My Scissor Wing crashed into a chain link fence which stopped aircraft abruptly. I filled in the divots the fence made in the wings and the Scissor Wing flew many more times. Thanks for reminding me of the fun times I had.
