I thought I hated MH G3, and especially the Lagoona redesign, but I've just fallen HARD for Monster Fest Lagoona. The design looks thoughtful instead of 'let's just drop the doll in a box of bright plastic and see what sticks to it'. Her face is incredible. I mean, sure, the IT mermaid is pretty and all, but this Lagoona really does it for me and I'll be buying her.

1) I don’t know how to feel about the Totally Hair tribute doll. The dress is cute, but the Millie face sculpt absolutely does not fit it. They should’ve done a repro. 2) The mermaid is absolutely gorgeous. 🩵 3) Jinafire is very beautiful, absolutely serving. ❤️ I’m really happy for those who got her. 🩵 4) I think I’m gonna redress Catty to fit an outfit from the series. She’s really beautiful, so she deserves a better outfit. 🩷 5) I prefer the Second core wave than the Monster Fest, since I think they have cuter clothes. ✨
I'm probably the only one that thinks this, but I like the new Totally Hair Barbie more than the original. The dress is a nicer length, and I like that her hair isn't super long. Also, the dress looks like it would fit curvy. You can't say the same for the original.

I moved to another country and while I had no WiFi in my apartment, I would turn on roaming to use my data to watch your videos, particularly Yass or Pass, and I watched the full backlog of these in September last year. Since then I've been a subscriber and I watch your uploads religiously, they really do have a special place in my heart. Your personality and way of phrasing things is so endearing, and I can only thank you for everything your channel has been to me during this crazy time in my life. I still don't collect dolls. I am so excited about the Lagoona refresh doll. Whilst I initially got hooked on the series because I've been a vampire lover since I was a little kid so I needed to have Draculaura, Lagoona quickly grew to be my favorite. I only bought Draculaura's G3 doll for OOAK purposes as I am not too fond of her new version because having Roma ancestry and growing up with half-Indonesian cousins, I am far too aware of Asian stereotypes and what they're doing with Draculaura. I only really liked Abby, Venus and Twyla so far, with Lagoona I felt like there was missing something and this doll has it. I am definitely going to get her.

Oh my gods, I love what they're doing with MH G3. I like nearly every doll of theirs I saw in this vid. Especially Lagoona and Cleo, which is impressive, since Lagoona is usually one of my least favorites. But these all slap!!!
Jinafire turned out so lovely! She always was going to be lovely, but this particular combination has grown on me so much! Already pre-ordered her. The box design is also a step up, I think. Planning on picking up the other MH dolls as well. The more I look at what's out now that I don't own (Scareadise, aside from Heath), the less enamored with it I am. I like the looks, but I can pass on them and save my $$ and shelf space for dolls I have more excitement over. Like the core refresh and the Monster Fest, and all the Skullector and Creeproductions coming up this year.

Just fell to my knees realizing that I don't have a W membership to purchase that mermaid doll. I really need more high fantasy/sea oriented mermaid dolls in stores that are articulated because there's almost always something off about mermaid dolls that get released but that Integrity one made me realize I need to try t get on the 2024 W club.
Love the video. I apologize if you've already addressed this in a previous video, but have you looked into all of the new blind box BJD/ MJD dolls that have been coming out? Some examples would be the Leroro Summer Island series, the Antu Dreamlike Teaparty series, Nagi Club kindergarten, Teenar, etc. I really like that they're becoming so popular, because they tend to be around $20 to $30 and it's a really nice medium between play line and BJD type dolls. The designs are also really varied although skin color diversity isn't the best. Most of them are 1/12th scale.
I was kind of hoping you would clown on Jinafire to help talk me out of preordering her lol. Instead I’m a step closer to caving and getting her! 😂 She has a lot going on, but the detail is exquisite!

Planning on picking up the other MH dolls as well. The more I look at what's out now that I don't own (Scareadise, aside from Heath), the less enamored with it I am. I like the looks, but I can pass on them and save my $$ and shelf space for dolls I have more excitement over. Like the core refresh and the Monster Fest, and all the Skullector and Creeproductions coming up this year.
Frankie's core refresh was SO close to being amazing. The first prototype for them is what I would want to buy.
Yessssss I 100% agree, it felt more cohesive. The added pink in the hair isn't my favorite but it's fine, but something about that pale pink on the top throws everything off

Just fell to my knees realizing that I don't have a W membership to purchase that mermaid doll. I really need more high fantasy/sea oriented mermaid dolls in stores that are articulated because there's almost always something off about mermaid dolls that get released but that Integrity one made me realize I need to try t get on the 2024 W club.
Love the video. I apologize if you've already addressed this in a previous video, but have you looked into all of the new blind box BJD/ MJD dolls that have been coming out? Some examples would be the Leroro Summer Island series, the Antu Dreamlike Teaparty series, Nagi Club kindergarten, Teenar, etc. I really like that they're becoming so popular, because they tend to be around $20 to $30 and it's a really nice medium between play line and BJD type dolls. The designs are also really varied although skin color diversity isn't the best. Most of them are 1/12th scale.

The IT mermaid is stunning. Monster High is finally getting interesting designs, did they change designers from the previous G3 lines? I wasn't excited for the relaunch of the line but now I'm kinda interested.

I am getting both of the Cold Carbon dolls. I had no idea who Cold Carbon is but the dolls won me over. I might have to preorder the mermaid too. I'm also really happy with te Monster High G3 releases.

g3 has finally stepped up their game enough for me to make peace with the new designs, but i don't think i'm ever going to get used to lagoona's brown eyes. idk if they need to be darker or warmer or what but they clash so hideously with the rest of her palette imo :\
I feel the same way. Murky eye color worked for G1 Lagoona but not for her saturated pink incarnation

I’ll be getting Catty Nior. I kind of regret selling my nib g1 of her. But I love the thick tail on g3. I do wish she had a different outfit though. It’s not my favorite.
