Chasing the 'Ayr Extension' railtour (13/01/2024)

To start off the new year, we chase one of the first major railtours to come to Scotland, dubbed 'The Ayr Extension'. Operated by Locomotive Services Ltd., using 86101 and 87002 in a T&T formation, running from Crewe to Glasgow, then Glasgow to Barassie Junction and back before returning to Crewe again.
For this video, I thought that, rather than just show you the footage from each spot we caught the tour at, I would make a small travelogue-style video as we travelled to each of the different spots.
If you all liked this style of video, more will be on the way throughout this year. I still have a huge backlog of content from last year to get through but, rest assured, that will all be coming in the near future.

I used to work the Caledonian Sleepers from Edinburgh to Carlisle&Aberdeen with Class 47s,86s,87s&90s. It's good to see the 86&87 on the Railtour.
