      Hey there, do the guys from dickblick ship internationally to Colombia? I want to buy enought foam for this mask, or dont you sell throug amazon perhaps?

      I'm making this. Unfortunately I just looked at the links when I ordered the supplies and didn't confirmed they were correct. For the foam you have 2, 6 and 10 mm on the link instead of 4, 6, and 10 mm that is required. Will it work just as well if I double up on the two mm?

      @@p10091518 that could work 4mm is used around the eyes. you actually need all of the sizes 2,4,6,10 or just see if you can add 4mm to the order

      @@SKSProps early in the video you trace the pattern onto the foam but seem to cut about 6 mm further out. Later I don't see the patterns trace though on either side. Do you trim some later or am I imagining the thicker cuts?

    Quick question. When it comes to using a bandsaw is there any specific types of blades that work best for foam? I just picked up a smaller table top one second hand and need to replace the blade.

    • @SKSProps
      @SKSProps  2 роки тому +1

      Depends my blade is 20+ years old can’t cut wood because it’s so dull but works great on foam. But you want a straight blad with no offset teeth. McMaster carr sells specifically foam blades I bought one but haven’t used it yet

    • @SKSProps

      First off thanks! secondly cardboard would be tough the while reason I like for is that it can take a compound curve and streatch in two ways at once. Foam is cheap just start moving in that direction and your builds will also be lighter and more durable

    Dumb question: The 9 connector pieces for the vertabrae: I see 8 used to connect the 9 bone parts.... but the template and video call for 9 connector pieces. Do you have the 9th connector piece at the very tip/bottom?

    • @amc05e
      @amc05e 2 роки тому

      additionally: it appears that connectors 1-5 (vs 1-4) are thinned on the bottom to make the curve, while connectors 6-8 are thinned on the top to "straighten" the vertebrae (vs 5-9). Which do you recommend? Thanks in advance!

    • @SKSProps

      yes you want to have them at an angle to give the spine a curve. the extra piece is for people that want o continue the spine to match the show where I made mine to match the comic book version

      I added an additional connector in case you wanted to continue the spine how it looks in the show with the spike on the end but it’s not necessary
