Do you have video for p30 lite power button replacement please? Do i need to remove battery to replace the button? Button is not clicking, it's damaged right?
Hi, I currently don’t have a P30 Lite in my repair shop. However, the Pro and Lite versions are quite similar, so the process for replacing the power button should be comparable. You don’t need to remove the battery-only the top motherboard. Please be careful when opening the back cover, as there is a fingerprint flex cable connecting the back glass to the top board. Additionally, note that the flex cables for the Huawei buttons are located under the top board and secured with adhesive. Make sure to remove and reposition them correctly to ensure the connectors fit properly.
If you haven’t noticed any “holes” or “bolts” around the buttons, just mount the new flex cable on the phone and test the buttons before proceeding any further steps. Most of the time, after each repair, I prefer to test the phone, powered, and with its back cover open just to ensure everything works perfectly after that, I apply a newer after-work adhesive on it, as the final step.
@Michael-fl9lh ohh, sorry. Just mount the newer button and test it. Let me know if you need any help with your issue but I believe you will succeed in this repair 👍
In this case, the phone had screen protection and the technician used glue that malfunctioned the buttons. I do not recommend glue to be used in excess.
I'm so sad because that all look so easly in the video. But when i'm trying remove buttons, this smal piece is like stuck inside.. I can't remove it in any way. I don't know.. my model is too perfect made or what.. heavy to fix.
Hi, you don’t have to give up so quickly. You need to have a good and powerful light (flash from the phone), thin tweezers (with which to grab small objects), and a little patience and it will be solved. However, an easier way to remove it is to remove the battery and the motherboard (top) for easier access. The button tape is glued with a special adhesive, so a pair of tweezers can help a lot. Please remember that the bottom flex cable can be removed without removing the chassis bottoms.
Now i know how to fix my cousin`s phone, without having to go to a specialist! 😁Thank you so much, keep it up! 🙌👏

@@mlelectronix There are no tiny holes near the buttons on the p30lite... Weird

@mlelectronix I'm not trying to replace the flex but the power button itself.

What was the reason of the power on button to be faulty?

Where can I find this strip for my Huawei p30 pro in Pakistan 😢
There is a website called dmarket . pk and and search for “huawei p30 pro power botton volume botton flex”
These bolts are impossible to remove.
Yea, Kind of. I don’t know but this Huawei P30 Pro is constructed pretty harshly. It is one of the hardest phones to fix.
