SEVERAL QUESTIONS!
1.) How does Violet have a phone already and how does she know how to text?
2.) How does she know modern language like, "Sup?"
3.) How is she supposed to understand what 2 lines of emojis are supposed to mean?
henry taught her and who knows maybe he got her the phone
+Nicolette Herroz her father was from the land they are in in this scene, he landed in Camelot before she was born and I guess he couldn't get back home or he just didn't want to.
+Alexis 'L3X' Clayton (Rebel Princess) so I guess that's how she got the phone and learned or if her father isn't there then ya it was most likely Henry.

you would think that they'd do what they did when Zelena vanished and check the stupid security camera... then they'd see what really happened since Arthur has no idea what security cameras are....

+Killians .Hooker Excellent point about the "modern" characters forgetting about stuff the older ones wouldn't even know about. Which reminds me of a couple of things that have been bothering me about this show. 1) The town of Storybrooke is cut off from the rest of the world magically, yet they still have a port, a power station, electricity, cell phone reception etc. How are they able to have all this (including fresh food supplies for Granny's, gas for the cars and trucks etc) without the outside world noticing them vanishing? 2) As has been established since season 1, Storybrooke has a library. Will Scarlet was once found in said library holding a copy of Alice in Wonderland, the story from which he and many other characters originated. My point is this: The characters in the town are "literature made life", and whilst some of them have existed in fairytale for millenia (eg Snow White etc), others were specifically created by an author and published on a specific date in the real world. What I mean by this is that Captain Hook for example literally didn't exist until JM Barrie wrote him in 1904, likewise for countless more characters. So how would/do these characters react when confronted by the book from which they were spawned?
culthosmythos i think the first question is a question for Eddy and Adam lol. on the second one, who knows but i'd love to see some of them see their "story" version of themself... I mean Emma did mention to Hook something regarding perms and waxed mustaches but i'd love to see his reaction to himself like "Codfish? I'm not a bloody codfish nor am i afraid of the crocodile!"
