I wasn't even into your video for the first full minute when I learned 10 things I didn't know. THANKS SO MUCH for posting this! Thanks to your video, I did in 15 minutes what would have took me 4 hours to try to figure out!
VERY useful, thank you!!! Ok, anyone know how to get the first chord/note in each measure further away from the barline? It just "bunches" up too close to the left barline at all times...
@@monsterjazzlicks Hiwell the old triangle system was for shorthand when writing out charts. If you want a small triangle in Symbols- Noteheads there are triangle shapes there. I just got a new version Ultimate and I am struggling a bit.Everytime I put a chord name in my chart I get a chord box which I don't want. Fun and games! Good luck
Thanks for video ! Could you tell me please how can I make the line of 8 bars ? when I put the" beat stripes" sibelius doesn't want to keep it 8 per line , it makes it automatically 4 . (i'm on MAC)
Great. Unfortenaty things go wrong when you create guitar chord diagrams. Never find a way to save them, so each time you have to redesign the chor diagrams manually. The default chord suggestions from Sibelius ... I don't know where they got 'm, very uncommon.
Well Sibelius should do life more easier to write and arrange music, BUT I don't get it, seriously!!! how hard could it be? Back to paper and pencil even do I have worked with computers from late 90th :-) (I am a shame)

Does anyone know a sans serif font that can be used for chord names? Thanks
Great video. I think saving a template is a great option because compared to Finale, doing Chord Charts in Sibelius takes a lot longer.
Good point!
Halfdim b13... I can't add b13 for halfdim chords. How am I add b13 symbol half-dim chords in sibelius 7? Thank you for your help and this video :)
In SIBELIUS the stage lines go right through the GUITAR TAB NUMBERS, anyone know how to break the lines so there is space around the tab ?!
not what i needed but it was helpful in other ways :)
Thanks, it would be great if you could discuss all of the different chord symbol icons please (eg. triangle).
triangle is maj7
@@maxmilligan8734 yes, but how do you create it please?

@@maxmilligan8734 I used shapes exclusively when scoring by hand. But since using Sib. I now use the propper spelling. Cheers.
how can i playback this chord chart ?
Thanks for this video! Do you know how to set a bigger default font size for the chords? they're always so smal... many thanks!!! :)
Nice video. But for some reason, my Sibelius does not let me insert slash chords.
How do you insert a new bar
click last bar line then Ctrl B

THANK YOU!!!
How did you enter the b flat at the beginning?
select crochet and type in bbbb
THANK YOU!
its a lead sheet with no lead notes. How to created chord charts with no lead notes?
Do you know the setting to have rehearsal marks show on all parts of a score?
Enter your text as "System Text" from the Styles menu, then right click on the text you have created and select show on all Parts.
this would be much more useful if you explained how to save as a template

Your background fan is creating a E major triad. Perfect pitch is a bitch sometimes
