- When Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents descended upon the offices of Nashville District Attorney General Glenn Funk back in March, the DA issued a statement saying they were there following his "invitation."
I just so appreciate that this reporter keeps shining the light into the dark corners!!
Really? I didn’t hear him mention the DA’s a democrat in a deep red state. This is also happening in Florida, Georgia, and other states where democratic counties’ DA’s are being investigated and/or removed. I didn’t see any light shining on those anti-democracy moves by republicans.
Many DAs need to be brought down for many reasons.

The biggest issue about the audio recording to me is the potential for eavesdropping on Attorney-Client conversations for any interviews taking place at the office.
THAT is a HUGE issue.

I have the same issue, attorney-client privilege is the cornerstone of our legal system, I can't help to think that misuse of the recordings is at the heart of all this and that the DA was using that information when in reality I question if having recording devices anywhere where a person might expect a level of privacy, I can understand the hallways and areas the public might be but offices and conference rooms can be a violation dependent on if the people had been told something other then the truth about how the recordings work and if they can be turned off.
Top drug dealers paid Funk well as a defense lawyer. And him facing this heat isn't surprising to many.

Multiple charges of contempt, failure to appear, the governor has been taking steps in a conjunction to have her removed from office, all but one of the feleny prosecutors have quit, and another (possible the last?) has just died in a car accident last night where only one driver has minor injuries after cars caught on fire. Many people think it is highly suspicious. Other cites have things happening I have heard about as well
