This is a test of the Otter Vortex thermal hub with a Mr. Heater Buddy to see how warm it would get on a negative 3 degree day. I run the heater on low for one hour and then again on high for one hour and check the temps inside. You'll be amazed at how warm this Hub will get!

Which size is that the cabin the lodge or the resort would be nice to know the size, I'm sitting in the lodge right now 75sqft. Oh I just saw your answer to the other person, the cabin so I think that's the smaller one that's why so easy to heat I guess.

Yes, this is the Cabin. How well does the Lodge heat? I would think good being how well insulated they are. Good luck fishing!

@@DeanoOutDoors hi yea it stays cold for a while but I don't have one of those fancy heaters i think they're like the round sunflower head type and they burn your eyes so I'm just using a one burn stove on top of a 1lb cylinder probably way less heat than the radiant type but the flame burns the fumes that's what I like. I have a new kerosene heater with the cook top should be just toasty can't wait to try that thing.

How much propane do you think you used? Curious how long one of those tanks will last?

I ran the heater for roughly 2.5 hours and went thru about a quarter tank. It will depend on the heater you are running and also the setting it is at.

It was a tough bite! The barometer was low, it was a full moon and the wind was out of the east! But I managed to catch it.

Great informative vid.. but could you not throw garbage in the lake next time?

Sorry, it was on my private pond, and the phone was actually tied to a string attached to my fishing pole that I later retrieved. It was just for added entertainment. I wouldn't actually throw trash in any body of water. But thank you for your concern and watching.
