I'm sure they'd play fairly but you could very easily buzzer and then get that extra 1-2 seconds you'd need to actually figure it out when your opponent likely already has.
Doing it like this is much more fun, the added complexity of trying to beat each other to the answer really adds to the fun.
The only thing I'd change is make the wager round back to the timed version so thay the points actually matter

You guys should do this with an emoji quiz or AI generated quiz! Would make it much more decisive!

100% the right format for this (and not-every-but-many other quiz styles)
Would only make the wager round traditional so you can strategize with your earned points still, but all the core rounds compete for the point 🔥

Like speed rounds and the wager being the only time both write answe… maybe bonus point for being first with marker on w/correct answer to keep the speed aspect alive.

This one was hilarious great format just gotta figure out a cleaner way to do the wager
Really like this but it definitely messes with the wager. I guess it will depend on the quiz, like the AI quizzes would just be even more one sided. The best parts of those ones is watching Dante’s brain melt while John tries to give him hints

That would be interesting but also kinda confusing because some might be the same height and weight
