I am pretty sure that the reason William knew mikes last name was because of when he murdered garret , maybe he recognised the name from when he killed garret and did a background check or something idk
I initially thought the reason why William is intrigued by Mike’s last name was simply because he remembers when he kidnapped and killed his brother. He remembers Mike being there when he took him, and understands Mike is potentially out for revenge. That’s the reason why he offers the job at Freddy’s, to get rid of that loose end.
@@llamba1942 I’m just providing a counter theory for what he said in the video. A lot of people seem to think Mike Schmidt and William are related. While it’s possible, I think what I said is more likely.
and i am definitely agreeing with you, except that it’s just fact that mike is not an afton in the movie. it *could* be a theory if vanessa was never revealed to be an afton. but there is just no evidence from the movie proving or even hinting at mike being an afton. just making theories for the movie with the games as evidence is not the right way to make theories. every should just assume that the movie takes place in a whole different universe and has no lore correlation with the games
i also forgot to mention that williams main goal was to get him killed at freddy’s. he told vanessa to keep him unaware of the animatronics (so that they could kill him unexpectedly), and to kill him if he got too close (close to learning about the murders or child souls/bodies)
Some other details I've noticed : 1- the first time in the movie you see balloon boy, Mike actually find the flashlight which is funny because in fnaf 2 when you finally face balloon boy he prevents you from using your flashlight. 2- when you see William (before knowing that it's actually him) as the job adviser I've noticed that his tie is purple and I immediately thought it was the purple guy. 3- when we look at Vanessa's teeth, we can see that her two front teeth are accentuated by some kind of prosthesis, probably to evoke the fact that she is Vanny or that she is related to Spring Bonny (yellow rabbit) I can't wait to see the next movies and in the meantime I'm going to keep watching theories and eastereggs to feed my hype. Sorry for my bad English 😅
“Sorry for my bad English 😅” you say as you finish typing a college level analysis on the FNaF movie. All jokes aside these details are interesting and I agree with you. Can’t wait for the next movie whenever that is.
I noticed the makers were mondo lama markers wich The brand was established in 2021 not complaining the movie was AMAZING but hopefully, they throw in some Crayola makers next time
I almost cried when the living tombstone came on at the end, it's so crazy how the franchise has come so far, and includes so many people who made fnaf what it is today. It was so cool to see other people jamming along with me all seeing our childhoods come to fruition
Behind the yellow rabbit picture when Abby removed it there is a picture of two boys camping, Mike and Garrett? Also her picture does not have a blonde kid, but Garrett instead
Wait isn't Cassidy Michael Aftons' (Mike Smith) brother in the games? .but why did they use another kid named Garrett to be Mike Smith's little brother.
@@Danielthefoxstudio Cassidy is not micheal afton brother in the games. his brother is the crying child the boy you play as in fnaf 4 Cassidy is the “vengeful spirit” that possesses golden Freddy
I think the Freddy head with the blades in it is an agony extractor that Afton made, rather than a machine to put endos into suits. It makes no sense for a machine that puts endos into suits to have spinning blades all over the inside of it, it would either shred the Endo head, or the metal Endo would damage the blades. I think the purpose of this thing may be explained in a sequel film, like much else in this movie that was never fully given context. Also, the biggest hints for me that Steve Raglan was the antagonist were his purple ties. What I am curious about is the box on the shelf behind Raglan's head. It reminds me of the box that Scott never opened, but I can't make out everything written on the yellow post-it stuck to it.
In the end credits, when the voice said "COME FIND ME," the Puppet's theme could be heard in the background. The second movie will probably concentrate on William Afton and Henry Emily's collaboration in establishing the Freddy Fazbear Pizza restaurant and designing the animatronics, with a focus on Charlotte Emily's transformation into the Puppet. The third movie might conclude with Henry Emily's plan to trap Springtrap and relocate the surviving animatronics to a new site for their fiery disposal.
@@SPS0501US No. Charlotte Emily is the daughter of Henry Emily. Henry Emily and William Afton were the founders of Fazbear Pizzaria. The two were also the engineers who built the animatronics. You can see Henry building or fixing an animatronic in the background of the security guard orientation video.
@@ryankwon8785it is theorized that Henry is Garrett, Abby, and Mike’s biological father. Which would be why William PLANNED his kidnapping on Garrett, just as he planned Charlie’s kidnapping
@@Whoiscassie Then Mike should have recognized his father fixing the animatronic in the background of the security guard orientation video. In the FNAF lore, the only animatronic engineers were William Afton and Henry Emily. In addition, Mike Schmidt was the main protagonist of the first FNAF game. I think William targeted Mike's family because of how nearly similar they were to his family (Afton Family).
I think the reason William reacted so strongly to Mike’s last name is just to foreshadow their connection. Because when he meets up with Mike in the restaurant he says something like “I’ve killed your brother, and now I’m gonna kill you” he knows Garrett was Mike’s brother and thinks in this moment in the office “perfect I can get the whole family”
yeah people don't understand that serial killers outbranch their territory.....he reacted to the name because of the old news report of mike's family calling out for garret to be returned safely
William reacted so strongly to Mike's last name is just to foreshow their connection. Because when he meets up with Mike in the restaurant he says something like I've killed your brother, and now I'm gonna kill you he knows Garrett was Mike's brother perfect I can get the whole family .
I loved the movie, but I have a few questions. Did Aunt Jane die? Did no one question what happened to vanessa,a police officer getting stabbed, and is now in critical condition? I would imagine Mike would be a suspect in the disappearance of Max and her crew,Aunt Jane murdered,Vanessa in the hospital,Steve Raglan(William Afton) disappearance, the building he was hired to watch after collapsed. I guess I just need to work on my suspension of disbelief.
I like to think Golden Freddy just knocked Jane out instead of actually killing her and she woke up an hour later with a massive headache and no niece in sight
apparently they left it open ended on purpose, so there's a possibly storyline they want to make with Aunt Jane moving forward that we don't know yet. But yeah it's kinda funny how Mike isn't being interrogated considering everyone dead has a direct line pointing right to him haha
12:07 I honestly believe that in this universe Michael Afton will not be his father, but I do believe that in this universe, Henry Emily will actually be called Henry Schmidt and I think Mike will be his son in the movies and I also think the crying child is going to end up becoming the puppet
i 100% agree with all of this! i always thought emily was a weird last name and figured it was charlie's middle name. making henry mike's (and abby's?) dad in the movie and having garrett become the puppet would just be so perfect!
Yea this is much more believable of a theory! In my mind William Afton could have just heard on the news after the child went missing and boom, now he knows the kids name, and potentially the family members names.
Yeah this def makes sense, especially since when garret is kidnapped, they are in Nebraska, why would William travel all the way there for a random kid? He had to be getting revenge on Henry or specifically wanting to go after Henry’s son
I can totally believe that Afton killing Mike’s brother in the movie is a parallel to Afton killing Henry’s daughter in the games. Which means, if the Puppet shows up in the possible sequel, will it be possessed by Mike’s brother? And if we subscribe to the “Mike’s dad is Henry Emily” theory, then the two families from the games basically swap kids: William Afton now has one daughter like Henry did in the games, and Henry now has two sons and a daughter, like the Aftons in the games.
I’m not sure if this is an actual Easter egg, but I noticed that Foxy seemed to twitch more than the others after getting tased, which could be a reference to how Foxy seems to spazz out during the mini game in FNAF VR where you need to fix him
Markiplier was supposed to be the guard in the opening scene but filming for iron lung had unfortunately made conflicting filming dates, so he couldn’t do it.
for 11:36. i think the reason William Afton stopped and was in shock when he read Mike's last name was because he remembers kidnapping a Schmidt kid, and the last name rung a bell, being the Serial Killer that he is, he probably then decided at that moment that the older Schmidt brother would be his next target. probably would taunt him about his younger brother if given the chance, just to rub salt in the wound
12:14 completely agree, especially since we know from Vanessa's tapes in security breach that there was a custody battle and she sided with her father. It would make sense for Micheal to not remember William if he was too young to remember the divorce.
I think the reason he reacted so strange to the last name is because he remembers Garret and wanted Mike to die in the pizzera in order to stop any potential investigation Mike was doing
Great video but, I have one gripe. Mike never said his dad died. He said “Dad couldn’t handle it, so…” it’s implied that he died but I think it could mean that Mike’s family could be stand-ins for the Emily family. It may explain why WA was there to kidnap Garrett in Nebraska.
I’ve seen a lot people theorize that Michael, Abby, and garret are Henry’s kids and it’s like the novels where William only has one kid that’s a daughter, which could’ve gave him reason to kidnap garret and why he pauses on mikes name and looks to see if he recognizes him, idk it’s just a theory, A GAM-
I dunno cuz in the movie mike says that his mother died and before that, his father "Couldnt take the grief", basically implying him taking his own life. This reminds me of fnaf world but it doesnt really work with the story of the games with it aligning more with the books. Thats just my opinion though.
when William loses the c.c and also around child murder time, William couldn't take the grief and hides himself away between his walls (note balloras song), and invents instead. maybe William disappears like this@@Eclipse-yh5og
Foxy having mainly white pupils was a nice nod to withered foxy with the flashlight not working on him, and also the fact that his are the only ones that glow white when on the camera with the actual eyes still showing in game, which was also brought into the movie for some scenes, really cool if you ask me
I also noticed a parallel to Sister Location's Night 3 and Night 4. This one being: After Michael Afton got out of the "Parts and Service" room, he got attacked by Funtime Foxy before ending his shift. Later it was revealed that Circus Baby/Elizabeth managed to save him after he fainted. The same thing happened on Mike's Night 5: After Mike got out of the "Parts and Service" room, he got attacked by Foxy before escaping. Later it was revealed that Vanessa managed to save him after he fainted.
I feel like Garret was stuffed into the Golden Freddy suit or his soul managed to get there which would also explain the "Its's me" quote on the mirror. This would also show 2 souls being in Golden Freddy just like in the games. The only problems are how Afton got the body into the suit unless he had it on him and people not noticing but who knows? It's just a theory.
I've been thinking about this. However, I also like to think that maybe Garrett is the puppet. Mostly because of the "C O M E F I N D M E" at the end of the movie, it could've been Garrett asking Mike. That's just another theory, though.
For Vanessa, being William Afton’s daughter kind of makes sense to me now. In one of MatPats theory videos it said that Miss Afton was the one who built the pizza Plex and is trying to turn Vanessa into Elizabeth recreating and rebuilding her family, so Vanessa being an Afton in the movie kind of ties into that theory, potentially becoming true.
i feel like there was so many references that you could have said "we see here a dog took a shit inside of the house, this is a clear reference to" and I would have totally been like "aaahhhhh i see"
I'm so excited for this, thank you for all your hard work. Bern following FNAF since 2015. Your channel has become one of my favorite fnaf information/theory channels. ❤
Great content! I’ve only recently gotten into the world of FNAF, but it’s cool to see how many people love it and how much the mega fans are loving the movie!
My theory is movie Mike is Henry's son, their last name is just Schmidt not Emily, it'd be kind of a reverse parallel to the main story, Anton with only 1 daughter and Henry with 2 sons and 1 daughter, then it'd make sense why Afton was surprised about Mike's last name and would give him a reason behind murdering Garett
This was an awesome video! Scott, Blumhouse and Universal really made sure this movie was for the FNAF community! It was really fun looking for eastereggs and glad you found some new ones I haven’t yet seen! I will say I don’t believe William Afton reacted to Mike’s last name, because he is his son. He recognized the last name of the child he murdered. I know there’s theories thinking the Schmidt family is the stand in for the Emilys from the games! That’s why Afton targeted Garret
Great video! I agree with all but two points. I think we need to abandon this idea that Mike is an Afton in the film timeline. The reason William reacts to the name is he recognizes him as the brother of his murder-victim. I like your idea that the kidnapping seems targeted, so I'm honestly more-so in the camp of him being the son of a Henry-esque figure in the story. But outside of people wanting him to be an Afton I don't see any evidence for it in the movie. On the contrary I think the movie actively tries to redirect us from that idea through it being Vanessa. Secondly, from what we see I don't think torture Freddy is a stuffing machine. Max and her dead friends don't have marks from the saw-blades, they've just kinda been stuffed into empty suits. The head of the machine is also the same both times we see it, so if it was used for stuffing someone into it earlier, why is the same head being re-used? I think it's just as it appears, a torture/murder device. The eyes dilate, like they're camera-lenses, indicating William might be watching from afar. They could ret-con it one day to be a machine William used to experiment with agony if they wanted to I guess but other than that, I think William just kinda turned the restaurant into an automated serial killing factory, sending people there, having the animatronics put them in torture-freddy, have Vanessa cover it up, repeat.
30:52 During that moment everyone in the cinema just yelled the well-known markiplier quote. On an unrelated note, the shadow gives us the same perspective on the bite as the FNAF4 minigame.
I'd like to note how in the opening credits of the movie, both Matthew Lillard's and Elizabeth Lail's names are purple. I wonder if this was intentional.
Just to add steve raglang is actually another anagram for ever lastang a possible reference to william always coming back but it could also be possible Scott just slightly adjusted it to annoy fans scanning for facts
12:07 I don't think it's that at all. I really just think he recognized his victim's last name. It is entirely plausible for a murderer to find out their victim's last name due to reports/the news about their disappearance (especially if it's a child). I think the fandom needs to accept that these are different timelines. It would be pretty ridiculous if the story had two "I'm the lead's father" moments (Vanessa and Mike). I don't think they're related in this. Sorry if I sound mean, Eng is not my first language so I come off as harsh
I think william suggesting Freddies as a job is to get rid of him, because he recognizes the name of Gerrets brother. Might be someone who can identify and threaten his guise, so he must be taken to the shut down freddies with the murder animatronics.
nah because when the livingtombstone's fnaf 1 song started playing during the credits i cried fr. this franchise has come so far and it's been so many years
I also considered that Mike's dad might be Henry in this, or the movie's version of Henry. Roles have already been swapped and it would explain why William went out of his way to kidnap and kill Garret
idk if this was me overthinking it but one thing that stood out to me was the scene when Mike first walks into Abby's room trying to get her to eat; on his way out he says, "but you should know what happens to little kids who don't eat their dinners...their bodies stay the same size forever." and I IMMEDIATELY thought of the fourth closet. the amount of detail and effort put into this video made my brain buzz in a very nice way, keep up the good work !!😝
I love how when we see the purple guy putting on the spring Bonnie suit it says Matthew lillard’s name shows up it starts as red text but it fades into the color of purple
I feel like dad Schmidt worked with William in the 80s, had a falling out, and William kidnapped and k!lled Garrett as revenge. Therefore William recognized Mike’s name bc he knew his old business partner Mr. Schmidt had a son named Michael. This theory also leads me to believe that Garrett is the movies’ Charlotte standin and will end up being the spirit in the Puppet in the next movie.
can we just mention that matthew lillard name came up when the purple guy was getting in the spring suit ( maybe ) hinting that matthew was william afton
That is possible, though sometimes the order of names in an opening sequence is determined by contracts rather than being up to the editors, so it’s possible the sequence had to be made to fit the name.
The end when the puppet says come find me,it literally means to find him in the movie, from the first scene where mike looks at chica and the other animatronics, you can see the puppets eyes ever so slightly refract/reflect the light as it kinda slithers away in the top right corner, theres also another instance i just forgot where
I’m sure William would have seen the news or articles about the missing boy, Garett, which would’ve had his last name on it… So I think that’s why he reacted the way he did. But it still doesn’t explain how both Mike’s family and William were in the same place for him to kidnap Garett.
Here's a theory. William and his wife are confirmed to have been divorced and that William cheated his way of custody of Elizabeth (Michael Afton's sister) so it's likely that Mike's father we see is actually his step father and William got custody of his daughter. It lines up with Mike and Vanessa being about the same age, William’s reaction to knowing Mike's full name and him knowing about Mike's brother.
I think you might be thinking this a little too much. To the thought of why William paused at the last name is because he did in fact remember it. Because William killed his little brother. Didn’t he also admit later on that he killed grant as well? Serial killers sometimes have a connection or finds victims that are connected. William wanted to kill mike because he already killed one of them. And this is made worse when he realizes that there’s Abby, a third family member he can kill all in the same family.
the music playing when afton shows up at the entrance is an arrangement of the track "sleep no more" from the ultimate custom night OST. it's also the same motif as what you said was the droning from fnaf 1's menu, and when abby started drawing the true yellow rabbit picture
Im no fnaf theory guy but in the taxi scene what immediately struck me was how golden freddy fit in the car. He shouldnt be able to fit there and the proportions were really weird. I thought this hinted at the weirdly sized and not fitting giant golden freddy head in the fnaf 2 hallway
I said it to my friend in cinema BUT, the lego duplo sets in 2000s had the old figurines those are from like 2010 i think, definitely not 2000 like on the security footage earlier
I really hope that they don't make Mike William's son now they hinted at a romance between Mike and Vanessa, 😅 I definitely got excited when William reacted to Mike the way he did and hoped he was Mike's father at first, until the reveal that Vanessa is William's daughter. The only possible way they could pull this off without making it weird is to either reveal that Vanessa is adopted and not in any related to Mike, (doesn't matter if she only share's the same father, she would still be his sister if she's not adopted), but even then it'd still be kind of weird. Or they reveal that they do not have romantic feelings for one another in any way and that the 'flirting' meant nothing, but given how many people I've seen interpret it as flirting, don't know how they'd pull that off lol. And don't know why Scott would make them seem interested in one another in a more romantic way if he always intended for them to be revealed as siblings. Edit: Removed random extra word that didn't make sense lol.
Really loved this video. I got a lot of these easter eggs myself during the movie. Well done movie! Why I totally accept that Vanessa is Williams Daughter here is because of the "connection" she and William have in FnaF:SB. If I got the current Lore-Theories correct, Vanny (who is Vanessa) is "posessed" by William through (I think) FnaF:HW I and Glitchtrap. So they already have that connection in the games. So making her his daughter (adopted or not) is actually giving Vanessa once again a connection to William.
Wait isn't Cassidy Michael Aftons' (Mike Smith) brother in the games? .but why did they use another kid named Garrett to be Mike Smith's little brother.
@@Danielthefoxstudio Cassidy is a girl in the survival logbook iirc, so yeah Cassidy isn't the crying child but a whole different child that shares the G. Freddy suit with his soul
"There's no other reason William would be acting so strangely to that last name." Well yes, the other reason being that he killed a kid like a decade earlier with that same last name who had a brother. He surely would have heard about the disappearance and known his victim's last name.
another reason that william afton switches up when he reads mikes last name could be that afton recognizes the name from the police reports when he kidnapped mikes brother garret
This is really awesome, thank you for making this. The most in depth analysis I've seen so far, you got some deep cuts man. Also, I loved your dog cameo hahah Keep up the great work!
One thing, the badge Mike receives from Vanessa from the Arcade prize counter is the same as the Sanshee Securuity Badge sold alongside their plushees.
~ 40:16 I don't know if it is just a coincidence, but I think the father-daughter relationship between Afton and Vanessa is a parallel tot the relationship between Afton and Elizabeth, Vanessa hiding his father's past despite she being a police officer, as Elizabeth who wanted to do everything for daddy
The #1 thing about this movie that nobody is talking about is Mike’s car and the year that the movie takes place. He’s driving in a 1998-2002 Honda Accord and it’s the year 2000 in the movie and the car is a complete clunker while being only two years old. Idk but it just peeves me that the car looks THAT beat up while only being 2 years old. There’s like, no way a 2 year old car looks that bad.
Also, if u rearrange the letters in william afton’s cover name “Steve Raglan”, u spell Everlastang which is 1 letter away from Everlasting which references how he always comes back. It was originally supposed to be Steve Raglin with an i not an a, but to troll the fans they changed it to being 1 letter off from a perfect easter egg. 😂😂😂
It's funny how earlier I was watching scream went back hung out with mom watching stuff got to this now back in my room watching this and scream at same time given the scream Easter eggs and Matthew glorious performances in both lol
you probably missed one easter egg it's about the animatronics dragging William Afton to the kitchen which probably answers why the kitchen camera isn't working because William Afton doesn't want to be seen and people are curious about what's in there
One thing I noticed is when the girl sees her aunt, she crosses out Mike from her photos, and since the animatronics listen to the drawings, they might become aggressive
One more thing, I dont know if it was intentional or not, but after everything is over and Mike asks Abby what she wants for dinner, she says both spaghetti AND pizza. Mike tells her she cant have both, and she eventually chooses spaghetti. This to me seems like a parallel to the fact that Mike wanted BOTH of his siblings, (Garrett and Abby), but he could only have one, and he ends up choosing Abby.
I honestly expected her to say something like “I think I’ve had enough pizza for a while”, even though technically they don’t eat any at the restaurant.
For me this film feels like the storyline the games would have followed if Scott had the whole thing planned from the very beginning. They’ve had to add a lot of characters later in the games and I think that hurt his ability to make them part of the original story. This move franchise gives them a chance to use all the characters and storylines they’ve made for the games and books but in one cohesive storyline
27:25 To help narrow it down. Regal doesn’t carry them either. 31:14 Also just want to point this out, the cartoon on the tv came out in 1939. It’s just speculation and a pretty big leap at that, but it could be a date for the Fredbear’s Singing Show ticket found in Security Breach.
I saw a theory about it being a reference to Fredbear’s Singing Show, I'm gonna check back on the other ads and shows shown during on the TV just in case there's anything else similar that could pinpoint any dates
I personally think they have flipped the story to make it easier for cinema, Mike, garrett and abby are Henry's kids, that's why William (Steve) kills garrett, and garrett will be in the 2nd movie as the puppet. There's literally no explanation for where Mike's father is and they move on from the subject fast, and I don't remember hearing his name. Charlys story in the game is waay too confusing for cinema and new people to fnaf so it makes sense why William killed garrett in the 1st place and why the father has disappeared and the mother ended her life. There's even a teaser for the puppet after the credits
it's a stretch, but the cassette player that helps him sleep is a reference to Five Night's At Candys 3. which is endorsed by Scott himself under the fazbear fanverse initiative.
In the seen where Mike first looks at the animatronics when he points his light at Chica two white eyes shine on the right I noticed this after rewatching the movie I then brightened up the image and it looks like the shape of puppet
A little thing I've noticed about the picture Vanessa showed Mike of her and William: they both wear purple. Vanessa as a shirt, William in form of a bowtie that attached to the Springbonnie suit
12:02 I’m not saying your wrong but I think (I keyword) that it’s because he knows he killed his brother and he just wants to kill him to as a hint of what he said further in the film (first a kill your brother now i kill you) just a guess
I think Vanessa changed her name because towards the beginning she enters the pizzeria and she said her name was Vanessa Shelly then later saying her dad was William Afton so when she was a child her name probably wasn’t Vanessa
Something I haven’t seen people talk about is that the mini games in the title sequence show each child being taken, and a few show the ways that the children are taken in the pizzeria simulator Easter eggs, a girl is taken from an arcade cabinet for example Also there’s one referencing “Foxy! Go go go!”
Maxs actress has been making a few post on instagram all using the words shadow and purple implying she’ll be back as shadow Freddy. When people ask her directly all she replies with is a bear and the color purple
Youre making quite a leap to the theory Mike is an Afton based on his last name. It's not hard to assume that the last name of Schmidt was in the file he was reading, and he stopped to look at Mikes face because he recognizes the last name from Garrett, which was probably on the news and why he knows the last name, and he is looking to determine if Mike has similar features to see if he is related to his first kill. You're hurting theories by trying to stretch them out as far as they will go, when the simpler answer is almost always the correct one.
I don’t know if he says this in the video, but I think the reason golden freddy only has one glowing eye is because it only has one soul in it during the movie.
12:20 didn't he just realized his last name is the same last name of one of his victims (Garret)? No other scene persuades me that william afton is Mike Schmidt's father and this scene can be explained differently as I mentioned before

That’s the reason why he offers the job at Freddy’s, to get rid of that loose end.
that’s literally the case. he is not mike afton in the movie.
Also i really r e a l l y feel like William Afton losing a son to another family, he would not let that slide.
Some other details I've noticed :
1- the first time in the movie you see balloon boy, Mike actually find the flashlight which is funny because in fnaf 2 when you finally face balloon boy he prevents you from using your flashlight.
2- when you see William (before knowing that it's actually him) as the job adviser I've noticed that his tie is purple and I immediately thought it was the purple guy.
3- when we look at Vanessa's teeth, we can see that her two front teeth are accentuated by some kind of prosthesis, probably to evoke the fact that she is Vanny or that she is related to Spring Bonny (yellow rabbit)
I can't wait to see the next movies and in the meantime I'm going to keep watching theories and eastereggs to feed my hype.

@@Danielthefoxstudio Cassidy is not micheal afton brother in the games. his brother is the crying child the boy you play as in fnaf 4 Cassidy is the “vengeful spirit” that possesses golden Freddy
@@zoey3254 ohhhhhh. Then what is the name of the crying boy in the games
@@DanielthefoxstudioWe've never had one. Our best guess and most commonly accepted one is Evan
@@Danielthefoxstudiotheres no canon name for him, just "crying child"
Was thinking this same thing!
Same!
All the UA-camrs I’ve seen that got to see the set the set designers said that it’s it’s own thing n they call it torture Freddy :)
that machine is probably to "feed" the kids. Either to use the agony as an offering or give them more people to play with in their own hell?
yeah i think the first guy could maybe a detective of some kind? or someone who also was victim to losing his kid. or kids.
That would make sense except the movies were said to be specifically made based for the first three games
so charlotte = abby?
We all know that the police in FNAF verse don’t do SHIT. Foul odor in the suits but nobody bats an eye OKAY BUDDY
health and safety do a better job then the police fr@@damedameslame
apparently they left it open ended on purpose, so there's a possibly storyline they want to make with Aunt Jane moving forward that we don't know yet.
@@LJA116 omg that would be PERFECT i love the idea of the movie lore swapping the amount of kids exactly like that!!! great thinking :D
I’m not sure if this is an actual Easter egg, but I noticed that Foxy seemed to twitch more than the others after getting tased, which could be a reference to how Foxy seems to spazz out during the mini game in FNAF VR where you need to fix him
yeah true! funnily enough apparently Foxy almost caught on fire during filming, truly the most chaotic haha
Markiplier was supposed to be the guard in the opening scene but filming for iron lung had unfortunately made conflicting filming dates, so he couldn’t do it.
Shame, It would've been a cool cameo
@@ForteMagalaSequel please be in Mark?!!!
this is true! knew it before hand and probably should have mentioned it as an extra detail, but forgot to unfortunately!
for 11:36. i think the reason William Afton stopped and was in shock when he read Mike's last name was because he remembers kidnapping a Schmidt kid, and the last name rung a bell,
being the Serial Killer that he is, he probably then decided at that moment that the older Schmidt brother would be his next target. probably would taunt him about his younger brother if given the chance, just to rub salt in the wound
idk why when people turn their brain off to that point
12:14 completely agree, especially since we know from Vanessa's tapes in security breach that there was a custody battle and she sided with her father. It would make sense for Micheal to not remember William if he was too young to remember the divorce.
I think the reason he reacted so strange to the last name is because he remembers Garret and wanted Mike to die in the pizzera in order to stop any potential investigation Mike was doing
@@zev4133as much as i want mike to be mike afton i think you are correct.
William reacts to the last name Schmidt because he knows that is the new last name of his ex wife.
LMAO
Yes he was
Great video but, I have one gripe. Mike never said his dad died. He said “Dad couldn’t handle it, so…” it’s implied that he died but I think it could mean that Mike’s family could be stand-ins for the Emily family. It may explain why WA was there to kidnap Garrett in Nebraska.
This is what I think will happen, and the puppet will be garrett in the 2nd movie
I mean yeah true, I just assumed from the "couldn't handle it, so..." it was hinting that he's dead, but fair enough - good theory!
6:59 "Mike's unnamed brother"
Little did HD know, he would solve that mystery himself, 9 months later.
A fun fact is that Markiplier was meant to be the security guard that dies at the start, but it had to be recast as he is working on Iron Lung
My favourite reference in the entire film is that freddy doesnt move until night 3
12:57 something else is how quickly Garrett disappears and seemingly with no screaming or protests so... More likely to be someone he recognized?
That last scene with Cory Kenshin is specifically referencing his DEEP fear of Balloon Boy.
Tbh if a second movie does actually come out I will be extremely excited, seeing the puppet would be present would be amazing!
im hoping we get the Puppet, some really cool scenes could happen from the games 👀
A FILM THEORY
Yes it does
i feel like there was so many references that you could have said "we see here a dog took a shit inside of the house, this is a clear reference to" and I would have totally been like "aaahhhhh i see"
HAHAHA - thank you, I think? 😅
I'm so excited for this, thank you for all your hard work. Bern following FNAF since 2015. Your channel has become one of my favorite fnaf information/theory channels. ❤
thanks so much - appreciate it! :D
Great content! I’ve only recently gotten into the world of FNAF, but it’s cool to see how many people love it and how much the mega fans are loving the movie!
ayeee welcome to the franchise! :D
welcome to the most convoluted lore ever lol
Roles have already been swapped and it would explain why William went out of his way to kidnap and kill Garret
idk if this was me overthinking it but one thing that stood out to me was the scene when Mike first walks into Abby's room trying to get her to eat; on his way out he says, "but you should know what happens to little kids who don't eat their dinners...their bodies stay the same size forever." and I IMMEDIATELY thought of the fourth closet. the amount of detail and effort put into this video made my brain buzz in a very nice way, keep up the good work !!😝
I like how one of the posters says “where a kid can be crazy!” as a rip of Chuck E Cheese’s “where a kid can be a kid!” 😂
I don’t think Mike is Williams son like in the games. I have a feeling he’s Henry’s son, which could lead to Garrett being the puppet in a later film.
I love how when we see the purple guy putting on the spring Bonnie suit it says Matthew lillard’s name shows up it starts as red text but it fades into the color of purple
I can’t believe that Shaggy was William Afton all along
Something you missed was when they are dragging william away to the left of chika there is a window and if unput your brightness up you can see puppet
But it still doesn’t explain how both Mike’s family and William were in the same place for him to kidnap Garett.
something i noticed in the film is the mysterious box in steve raglans office. the box reffereing to the one in fnaf 4. cool little easter egg
@HyperDroid I have a theory about the "stuffing/torture" Freddy, I think it may be a stand-in for the Scooper.
Steve Raglan is an anagram one letter from 'Everlasting' a callback to William Afton's line "I ALWAYS COME BACK."
Good catch.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon thank you
Im no fnaf theory guy but in the taxi scene what immediately struck me was how golden freddy fit in the car.
YES EXACTLY!!!
I feel like most of these thing's were just stretches or coincidence
"There's no other reason William would be acting so strangely to that last name."
Well yes, the other reason being that he killed a kid like a decade earlier with that same last name who had a brother. He surely would have heard about the disappearance and known his victim's last name.

oh! one thing, the balloons that the children hold in the opening "mini game" resemble the balloons in the "happiest day" mini game :)
another reason that william afton switches up when he reads mikes last name could be that afton recognizes the name from the police reports when he kidnapped mikes brother garret
This is really awesome, thank you for making this. The most in depth analysis I've seen so far, you got some deep cuts man. Also, I loved your dog cameo hahah
Keep up the great work!

The dream theory was the original ending. But because the fandom wasn’t happy about this (and Scott made a statement about the backlash) he continued
One thing, the badge Mike receives from Vanessa from the Arcade prize counter is the same as the Sanshee Securuity Badge sold alongside their plushees.
you also could've mentioned that dream theory and what happened to mike is basically what happened to everette larson in the last two epilogues
good point!
This movie was so accurate to the game i was impressed.
I can't wait for the sequel.
Oh god the fnaf movie theorists are going nuts- we're now analyzing dartboards and the sides of police cars for potential theory evidence
Thank u very much for taking the time to put in subtitles in almost each of ur videos no matter how long they are
you probably missed one easter egg it's about the animatronics dragging William Afton to the kitchen which probably answers why the kitchen camera isn't working because William Afton doesn't want to be seen and people are curious about what's in there
Not only do we see the sun clock but mike was specifically watching cartoons on the tv both in SL and the movie
One thing I noticed is when the girl sees her aunt, she crosses out Mike from her photos, and since the animatronics listen to the drawings, they might become aggressive
This video has the perfect amount of speculation while staying objective as possible and is incredibly thorough.
110% worth the wait!
thanks so much, means a lot! :D
At 5:44 when they introduce the actors Mathew Lillard shows up as Springtrap is putting on the head. Coincidence? I think not!
Also! Another detail at 28:20 is the guy's shirt has a similar layout and look of the minigame "Midnight Motorist" from Pizzeria Simulator!
This was a really informative video! Thanks for making it!
Damn u big UA-cam channel
thanks so much for watch! big fan of your work :D
Something you missed: when Vanessa first shows up at the door, the music is VERY similar to Princess Quest music
my friends: don't talk during the movie
me:
27:25 To help narrow it down. Regal doesn’t carry them either.
31:14 Also just want to point this out, the cartoon on the tv came out in 1939. It’s just speculation and a pretty big leap at that, but it could be a date for the Fredbear’s Singing Show ticket found in Security Breach.
I saw a theory about it being a reference to Fredbear’s Singing Show, I'm gonna check back on the other ads and shows shown during on the TV just in case there's anything else similar that could pinpoint any dates
I personally think they have flipped the story to make it easier for cinema,
Mike, garrett and abby are Henry's kids, that's why William (Steve) kills garrett, and garrett will be in the 2nd movie as the puppet.
Something I haven’t seen people talk about is that the mini games in the title sequence show each child being taken, and a few show the ways that the children are taken in the pizzeria simulator Easter eggs, a girl is taken from an arcade cabinet for example
Also there’s one referencing “Foxy! Go go go!”
Maxs actress has been making a few post on instagram all using the words shadow and purple implying she’ll be back as shadow Freddy. When people ask her directly all she replies with is a bear and the color purple
hoping a return in the sequel with Shadow Freddy, hoping 🤞
No other scene persuades me that william afton is Mike Schmidt's father and this scene can be explained differently as I mentioned before
One thing, I don’t think it implies Mike’s “dad” dies as a well, it might just mean he left.
