One thing it does that Google Maps lacks is suggest which tube station exit to take, which can make things much easier. Thanks for the Headspace suggestion as well. I know what you mean by London being overwhelming.

I know there are places where you can hear free talks.... And also, great places for music recitals... St Martin's in the Fields is world famous for music recitals and they do free lunch time recitals. I heard a fantastic Bach recital there when I took a lady friend out to treat her. She was very moved by the piano recital. We spoke with the pianist afterwards... Very enjoyable.
