Pay an extra $1,000 for special paint and get a long list of don'ts for said paint. That's nuts.
It's the unfortunate part of satin paint jobs. They are simply too fussy for daily drivers, they really only work for patina cars where the owner is willing to let them wear, or for high dollar vehicles that are babied.
Not worth it.
Imagine driving it at night, very slight rain with cool weather, and with "Home - Resonance" playing on the stereo.
The lighting and all, that stuff would be amazing for a friday night drive back home

I have an 08 (5MT) and while it hasn’t been very reliable, I love it to death. I’d love to see Honda bring it back.
It looks nice and I'm already seeing these everywhere. I like the copper color but new cars really should be shiny for what they cost. The paint looks like a $1000 2004 Santa Fe that's been in the sun for 20 years without wax. It's silly to pay for a car that you can never really clean, only hose off. The C-pillar handles are going to break in a few years but it's a nice idea. The H lights are a nice touch.

Loved this vehicle but a big fail was no power lumbar on the front passengers seat. The seats are kind of flimsy compared to say the sorrento. They need more stuffing. Otherwise the Santa Fe is really nice for the price!
This car Is like well I don’t have $100000 to spend on a Range Rover but I do have $50000 to spend on a Hyundai! lol

looks like a mixed bag , touch controls big bummer,not to mention trans issues
the tail lights that low make the car vary fragile to rear ending and destroying the taillights.
the lack of bumper is a terrible trend.

Good looking Vehicle but horrible engine and transmission.
One of the most advanced ignition security in a automobile from the same company that’s being sued for not even having 1990”s level key immobilizers on cars just a few years ago.
This thing is like the definition of gimmicky.
Why in gods name would they design the tail lights like that. That’s the WORST thing I’ve ever seen, and I’m offended that Hyundai would foist such a monstrosity upon my eyes.
Sorry but this new Generation Santa Fe sucks. Don’t know why Hyundai change the design but the last Generation model was amazing and it look like a Santa Fe. This one though just sucks, problems with the Transmission! They copy the transmission shift from the crappy Ionic 5. Can’t stand that car as well it’s like a Joke as well. But this new Santa Fe just doesn’t even look like a Santa Fe it’s like you’re buying a Fake Land Rover mix with the old Ford Flex! Like I said I don’t know why Hyundai change design when the last generation was selling. Who ever the Hyundai designer is needs to be fired. Bad enough several of the cars in Hyundai’s lineup just isn’t hitting the spot.
