@djmedic2008 Ive learned through my experience this hobby is adicting and ya get what ya pay for so its better to go big if ya can afford it. I'm not even into rock crawling but this is one moa im interested. Cant wait to see the build.
@2008calander , Yes it will be better with 2 esc's or one esc and a Punk Dig Switch. It will allow for independent control of either axle for the dig effect.
Bec helps control the current from the battery to what ever the battery supplies power for so one electrical item won't rob all the power from the battery and have a loss of power for another item that's powered by the same battery
@vfatnuts I would not recomend this kit if you are starting out in rockcrawling. But if you really would want one, a very basic set up would be about $800. But you can save lots of money if you get into a more begginer crawler like the Ax10. Happy shopping!
hey medic, how does the dig work if you use 2 escs? im planning on getting the xr-10, but i cant decide between going with 1 esc and a punk dig, or 2escs and getting a dig unit or however you control the dig..
Tamiya Clodbuster MOA(Motor On Axle) Kit. I beleave that is also a large truck in rock crawling, The Clodbuester has been on the market for a long time just resent was discontinued, rc4wd sells a bully in or kit, Berg Newage EnRoute crawler. just to name a few and they where on the market long before the xr10
I have a Integy SS01 and run a Traxxas EVX-2 16.8volt esc and two Novak 45t motors. Is it better to have seperate esc ? Besides the benefit of lipo compatible esc.

At 5:00 ,that's not a balancer..thats a balancer adapter or? not to be anal about your vid....but i can see many guys/gals buying that thinking it was the lipo balancer..great post...love it

what do u guys use more scx-10's, ax-10's, or xr-10's (if u use them)
How would the Novak m2 dig esc and rock star expert brushed combo 45t work in the xr10? Would it be a good fit?

can u fit sanded size batts in it? because the batt box looks too small for a standed size batt?
