The risk for strong tornadoes has now been expanded to the west to include Houston, Beaumont, Port Arthur and Lake Charles.
I'm getting trained as a truck driver, we just got out of Kansas we picked up from Ohio and we are delivering to Nevada so we got out just in time. Hopefully everybody else driving has a safe trip.
The enhanced area has been expanded for Monday. Look at Storm Prediction Center.

Every day I get videos on my feed saying "epic storm" and "this will be huge"
I think its too warm at the surface.
This storm could be the most intense since Sandy in some places, with the January 13 storm possibly being even more extreme.
My birds are eating voraciously at the feeder here in Indiana! They know something big and bad is coming!

My lord this is weather hell
It is a very blessing for us at the Jersey Shore that all these storms that we do get is all rain. And we would have one super duper massive blizzard on our hands if it was snow. The ocean is our saving grace. Amen.

I just randomly looked up at 6:10 to notice half of Alabama literally cut diagonally in half with severe weather. Alot of chatter about the blizzard but this weather in the south is looking insane.

I agree, to a point...but adding the 50-60mph winds to a nor-easter is concerning. It's interesting that no one has mentioned the possibility of ice storms along that snow/rain dividing line on the 2nd section coming across the midwest...living in Michigan it is something to pay attention to, as the lakes influence temp & precip. We don't get an indepth report here.
I am NW Kansas. Blizzard here. 50 plus winds. Some whiteouts here. Call 511 for weather and closed roads if you are passing through Kansas or plan to. Stay warm and safe.
