- First of all, what is a "Well Trained" horse? In my opinion, it's a horse that has been cared for and trained to the best version of it's self to perform a job or compete in a particular discipline. In my experience, they usually have 5 characteristics in common. In this video, I breakdown each of these characteristics in great details in hopes to help guide you through the process.
The benefits are obvious. It will increase your horse's value opening up to a HUGE market in constant search of such horses as well as increase your chances for success at events and such.

Yes! Such a good video. Love your training style and philosophy.
A+ on the editing too!
Thank you my friend!
You’re right about Excel Eq and GutX, excellent products! Currently have 2 show horses on these products and they have helped immensely ! I learned about Excel Eq from watching one of your videos so I looked it up and took a chance on it, and never looked back.
Thank you for the great, informative content❣️!
Watch all your videos with anticipation! So pleased to have met you at Casey’s when you were doing the filming last month. The videos turned out fantastic. It was a great day, and a privilege to watch. (Bryan from New Zealand)
I love your videos, very useful tips and you explain everything very well...i also love that you really take good care of the horses and treat them well. After watching one of the other videos i ordered me the Excel EQ, i am living in Germany and was thrilled that i actually could order it from Spain 😃😃😃 all the other products i was not able to get - so i am exited to give it a try. Keep those videos coming - you are doing a fantastic job !
Omgosh! What a beautiful little boy!!! Such a cutie!!!❤️
He is 🙂 thank you!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. So well explained, and shown. Appreciate all of you training techniques.
Thank you very much!
I really like your videos. Your intro on this one was awesome 👌. You do a great job of explaining what you are doing with your horse and they always look super smooth
Thank you David! I appreciate you taking the time to comment
So cool 😎
Do you use any other feed besides the Excel EQ and the 100X equine and hay? I use the 100X and 2 oz of California Trace with my hay. So many people feed the all in one feeds like purina etc. When I look at the ingredients you have to feed 3 to 4 pounds to get vitamins they need daily. California Trace guaranteed analysis is per oz not by pound like the others and you get more of the Vit A, E, Biotin, Zinc, Copper, lysine, Methionine. What am I missing here I can feed 2 oz vs 3 lbs. I'm going to look into the Excel EQ. Thanks. would love to know what else you feed. All your horses look amazing
Ok of the subject I watch all of your videos ,and need your help , my horse doesn’t buck well I am riding him up to a trot , but on the ground when he goes into the lope , from time to time he pulls back and bucks , so under saddle I am not confident to ask for the the lope , what should I do ? Can you please help me ? Thank you 🙏
Love this but I missed something. Confidance, responsiveness, movement, mental and physical health. What was the 5th.
Transitions at about 10:48 in the video
