I am a jungler and play ADC here and there sometimes, just wanted to say I really enjoy your content even if it's not related to jungle or the ADC I play, your other guide on how to play Varus was extremely helpful to learn the champ, he is my favorite ADC and one of favorite characters in LoL, my highest damage and hardest carry I have ever done was with Varus in which I still got one-shot and lost but fun game nonetheless, I find your voice and narration really calm and soothing which gets me more engaged in the video and towards your explanation, I will be honest I do not watch your videos regularly since I main jungle but when I do I always have a pleasant viewing experience, if you wish to make videos on other roles by all means please do as your guide on how to play Viego is also one which gave me a solid insight on him, so thank you for your hard work and I wish you nothing but the very best of success and peace :)

cuz varus is literaly for long fights because of his W cooldown reduction
and you are making video about worse version of AP build cuz AP actualy deals dmg
not like fk useless lethality
and HOB is okay in maybe 2 matchups MAYBE
but lethaltempo just gives you more scaling with your passive W Q and E
and ofc more range is fk broken always no matter what
and you need to go second tanky runes like conditioning and overgroth and ofc AS with double HP scaling runes
and ofc in main runes lethal tempo triumpf alacrity because bloodline literaly does nothing scaling for 20+ minutes and gives you nothing and ofc last runes is LAST stand
not fk CDG because that basicly gives you dmg just for your execute on Q which isnt high while last stand gives you dmg way faster and for longer with good build like this:
botrk or kraken>wits end most of the times>jaksho>hexplate or sunderer sky and if you need more then 200 armor and resist you can go rookern or omen/frozenheart
thats you build and learn how to play varus and learn how to walk cuz you dont know

As a Varus main, i have to say this guide is pretty off, Yes lethality is strong, but the On-hit build is better in most matchups, you take lethality against squishies and on-hit as soon as there is a tank, the whole champion is made for on-hit effects, and you feel less like a xerath trying to poke your way to the enemy team, that being said, Comet is also a really good keystone to take on lethality if you have a poke support (like zyra, lux, etc.) because you can proc it Way too often, you bully the enemy out of lane most of the time, if not kill them straight , your E slow makes it 100% sure the comet will hit, rarely seen someone flash a comet. Hail of blade can be superior in some matchups where you want to rely on SHORT TRADES , like with a rell or blitz, anything that can go in and out without problem.
This guy makes very off videos all the time, pretty crazy. He didn't mention the on hit build at all too.

My problem with the on-hit build is the same problem I have with any classic immobile adc. You're just a target waiting for that amumu grab to get you killed in half a second.
The lethality build makes you an actual champion. Youmuu + swiftness + opportunity = you can now maneuver yourself through fights and keep applying that damage that will always be more than the on-hit alternative because you aren't dead now.
@@tacitozetticci9308 that highly depends on your elo, but yes your position as an immobile adc is important , and you may not dish out as much damage because of it , but if your team half knows what they are doing , they will peel for you and then you will be able to do wayyy more damage than the lethality build , lethality is a joke against tanks , which on hit shreds
@@tacitozetticci9308 but as a solo carry, if your team is bad more often then not , yes lethality could potentially do more , but then , i prefer ap varus in those situation, because to me it offers more defensive options , but that's just my personal preference

One thing i would say is that hob isnt always better than comet, with ur E slow u have 100% chance of comet hitting and with scorch you can be very obnoxious in lane, use hob when you know the matchup allows you to not get insta flashed on as soon as you get into aa range

there is a new s14 Varus build that goes Blade of ruined king - Guinsoo ragebade - Terminus - into Jaksho the protean. it utilizes Varus's high AS on his passive and the stacking defenses on terminus and Jaksho to make Varus be very tanky while also having very high DPS. this also works for other Guinsoo ADCs like Kog'Maw, and i feel like it is better than lethality if Varus was really to carry.
Ghostblade was gutted for ranged users this patch so onhit is indeed better.
It also scales better later into the game and good vs tanks

Would you really go as far as to say Comet is wrong to take?
It’s take a situational choice, if they are all squishy then it would be better than comet since you would find more opportunities to take proc it than HoB. Plus there are match ups where comet +scorch just wins heavily and scaling is less of a factor. This season unlike the past few other comet can actually scale pretty decently with the abundance of extra damage from the new items. I do think HoB is less utilises than it should be but I am not sure if I would call it “the wrong approach”
I also think treasure Hunter is like the worst Rune to take ever, only in some scenarios with some champions. But That’s just me

cuz on varus as you dont know for sure you can max whatever you want depenting on matchup and what IS YOUR JGLER DOING
why?
so what max first?
you can max your Q just for PURE DMG ofc
you can max your W for onhits and if you play him on top against something like vlad,mundo chogath(but against cho you go with E max first) and sion but for most of the times you max your E in those situations because of INSANE SLOW its fk 50%
so if you want to be usefull for your team and so you can escape or catch someone or if you want wave clear you max your E
this is the most usefull ability in your kit why?
huge slow, antyheal, waveclear because its easier to hit most of the wave with it then with your Q because if you want to hit entire wave you need most of the time do it because it starts atacking your minions
its easier to hit enemies with it so ppl wont flash out of it or dash because of big area of hit and most of the time ppl dont expect high dmg from your E
if you play as adc or as toplaner you and you know jgl will gank you because you are playing with him or something you most of the time max your E because of 50% slow and not just for ganks
kaiting on top with this is super easy its like playing as ashe with almost perma slow on enemy but its higher amount of slow
and if some of you stupid adc mains cuz you are brain dead and you just dont know that want to play varus as adc or you want to counter illaoi EVEN JAX if you know how to walk
you max like that: E>W>Q why not Q second? because its not that importand just dealing more dmg with AA is better and more % and flat AP dmg

one last tip if you play solo adc or any new champ you play just go with BARRIER because it gives more survivability and when you play with tanks its even better
why the fuck you want to heal your leona? for ms? xD maybe learn how to walk first monkey cuz you are just dumb
and if you play with champ you almost never played if you fucked up you can survive with it or even kill OR THE MOST IMPORTANT you can bait dives cuz one more high dmg ability to kill you is a bit importand its almost like having nocturn shield for one dmg spell its that insanly powerfull

Would you PLEASE consoder Experimental Hexplate on Vaurs and Ezreal, eslecially varus try that with Opportunity as sexlnd and third items and watfh the newbs cry, constant ukts mega attack peed and movement speed synergizes with every lart of his kit
Just wrong, you play hail of blades with tank sup/ adc support, comet with poke support and lethal tempo into 2+ tanks... Just get it right next time!
