I’m trying movement speed varus recently. I took ghost as my second summoner spell and took predator as my major rune. I built armor pen. Cuz sometimes I have to change position or chase the enemy champ, this type of playing style help me a lot. This video let me know more about varus, great video>:)
You didn’t go over R passive. You wait until all three are up before you shoot after the R. Shooting before all three appear does not give your full damage potential. This also is the case with W. The guide I watched last night noted that there is an order to use his abilities to shorten their cooldowns. His cooldowns are very long.
Hi, what do you think about essence reaver and navori quickblades on this guy? Navori to spam his abilities and Reaver to get back some mana. Both have crit, so you still get high damage autos.
I'm a huge proponent of building to whatever play style you feel is most fun for you. Heck, if you wanted to build AP tank Varus, go for it! If your in norms and just looking to have fun, anything is possible! If your goal however is to play the champ to the maximum efficiency to have the best chance to eek out every bit of performance from him and win a ranked game, I'd recommend sticking to whatever the current best build has proven to be based on the thousands of games of stats. For Varus right now, it looks to be Kraken Slayer into Runaan's Hurricane.
Could be spicey, especially if you're against a melee top who cant turret dive you, and you take care from ganks. Give it a go, if it's fun let me know!
Very interesting guide for someone that Varus has piqued their interest. And shout out to Kog'Bot for popping all 5 of his potions after taking one Q of damage.
yes you are correct, apologies if i misspoke in the video, his Q dmg is increased by 0% − 50% (based on channel time), and the arrow's damage is reduced by 0% − 67% (based on enemies hit).
Thanks for the feedback Herman, it's always tough to cover everything in these beginner guides. Apologies I didn't go into more detail on it in the vid.
i havent played league since i was in high school, but getting back into it. thanks man!
Np bro! Hope you have fun getting back into it!

That sounds like quite a spicy setup! I've never tested it, but I wonder if you tried Phase Rush rune how you'd like it. Thanks for the feedback!

@@TiltShades well, i'm new to lol and not ranked yet... So i guess i'll roll with it for now and see how the games work out
@@leonardhinkelmann5629 Yeah bro, just have some fun, I love trying out different items in norms and seeing what works well, it's a great experience.
i wonder if running varus top is ok

It’s bad if the enemy team knows what they’re doing, if they don’t it’s some of the most fun you’re gonna have in the game
@@rudolf-blue True XD
Varus is my boy, is there a full build you recommend?? Im trying to get better with him
i always like going full sniper varus and building lethality, but not sure how meta that is at the moment :/

thanks, lol yeah!
i always thought that the longer you hold the q the more damage it does

Can I ult through minions?
Yes, R only hits champions
great content as always. will you be making for dummies guides for the champs you've covered already in beginner's guides? such as garen, morde
Ah yes, we gotta cover off a few for sure, at some point yes!
Can I play Varus on midlane?
Edit: nvm I'm on that part of the video now
XD all good!
Wait what? I thought W didn't have an active??
All good bro, Varus is pretty much all about that Q anyway lol!
you really forgot the W passive, you should have gone over it a little more

Yeah, years of tilt!
this champ is boring af
Lol XD if you love sniping, he's cool. But yeah, not the right champ if you want to get in there and outplay.
