GBH + Motörhead + Venom = early Bathory
one of my favorite motorhead songs
you mean bathory
@@blackstreaksofblood he means Cannibal Corpse
He meant venom
@@blackstreaksofblood maybe he thinks it's 1983 cover of a 1995 track
I can literally transpose Lemmy in my head and it fits perfectly lol
Ace of Spades of Black Metal
40 years ago, the world was first graced with the wonderful sound of Bathory.
this version is way better than the album version
The album version was recorded in a garage 😂
@@alessandromeligrana9083 that'll do it
It sounds more like Thrash and raw
Hail the lord Quorthon and the mighty Nordland!
Best version of the song.
why the hell does it matter his influences? you can clearly hear influences in early metallica, early exodus, testament, sodom, all these bands either rip off their influences or take the rhythm and feel of certain songs. quorthon wasn’t even 18, this is impressive, i love that you can hear the gbh, motörhead influences greatly. there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s kick ass music.
I say this as a Motörhead fan and ‘Ace of Spades’ being one of my favorite songs of all time: this is ‘Ace of Spades’ but 10x better. I absolutely love this more than the album version and wish he would’ve gone with this sound instead of the lo-fi because that album would’ve been perfect, although I get that he was looking to sound more original
cant believe he was only 17 when he made this
This right here is total Motorhead worship
Pretty cool NWOBHM inspired sound, one of my favorite bands. 🤘🏻
I listen this version on Jubileum volume I in my memories, beginning of 90's...
One of my first CD.
One of the best songs by bathory. Hail quorthon
Hail Quorthon, Hail Bathory.
Definitely the most Black n Roll Bathory got. Very much like Venom or a Blackened Motorhead
Speed Black Metal
Now, if you can start digging out some 80s recordings we've never heard that would be planet shattering. They must exist?

Who manages/owns his music now?
I believe it's his father, i could be wrong though
@@belzebub2352 Unfortunately, he died in 2017. His sister may be the one though.
@@SweetTeaConnoisseur That's sad, thanks for info
@@belzebub2352 As much as I know, his step mother now owns black mark production.
quorthon was like 16 here, holy crap im 15 i gotta start writting better music😂
This is a cover of venom's sacrifice for those unaware
Nah, the two songs are different from each other, actually
Nah, its a cover of Venoms Angel Dust, which is a cover of Overkill.
What are you talking about, this is actually a cover of motorheads sacrifice.
