I would take one of these in this condition over a new one. They turn heads at car shows. Especially if you mod the engines for performance. You can easily make these into 12 second cars with simple mods.

Technology got better starting in the 90s and performance and power improved. Remember these cars was basic and detuned. A few parts and you are pushing 400 easy.

I would have used super 40's & deleted 1 set of cats with a removable test pipe so you can throw the cats back on just for inspection time. Lil too restricted & the 40's always sound better than all the rest, esp on pony/muscle cars.
In my 20's I cut my stock exhaust off of my 1997 Cobra and replaced it with a flowmaster american thunder exhaust I wish I kept the factory tailpipes and did what you guys did.

I have single inlet dual outlet super 10s on my 5.3 04 avalanche and my 04 6.0 Express Van with the factory converters on both and they're barking loud. I know that stang is capable of way more than that. Clean sounding and you guys nailed the workmanship. Not criticizing just saying. Please don't take it the wrong way.
@@MrPistons4life To be honest there's no need to remove cats, not unless your racing it or having as a track car, because no cats can be obnoxiously loud in my opinion compared to just a good old muffler resonator delete.

@@traekiser213 Unless you modified your truck it doesn't run 13s stock. They are mid 14 second vehicles and the twin turbo V6 are faster than the 5.0 Coyote trucks. It is true that Ford detuned the Mustangs back in the day but they can push 400 to 450 horsepower easily with just a few mods for just little to no money compared to modding a new Mustang or in your case an F-150. Seen it before. All you need for the Mustang is headers, exhaust, a cam, better intake and head work and you're running low 13s. Build up the bottom end and you can run boost for over 500+. That's why you see so many Fox Bodies racing at the strip. They are light and the potential to make these cars really fast on a cheap it's easy. Enjoy your truck though. That guy is getting more thumbs up driving that Mustang than he would driving a F-150.
It has the HO so That's a GT not a svt cobra,and all had 4 cats. I have a 95 and I tossed a set of Jones 10 series knockoffs and I was all excited thinking it was gonna bark and it sounded nice but volume wise I was a bit underwhelmed. I drove it like that for a few months then I gutted the rear cats and sounded bit better the I gutted the fronts and it finally has some nice bark to it. But I still am not satisfied so this summer I'm buying a set of pace setter long tubes and buying a 2.5" builders kit and building a complete system with an x pipe. I'm not sure if I'm going to mod the full bores from 2.25 to a 2.5 inlet/outlet (seems often manufacturers use same muffler case but different inlet/outlets Jones is no exception) because for the money Jones products are awesome value I got 2 19 series copy's for half the price of one flowmaster I've had both I can't tell difference, but I'm really looking at moroso spiral flows there bit pricey but the sound killer.
Apparently, there was 1 year they put the gen 1 (302) in this model. My bad! Mustang people get all technical even tho that was the first iteration of a coyote/5.0/302. Sue me for calling it basically the first coyote. The only difference being SOHC. 😘

They just need to remove mufflers and resonator, in California the only thing you can't remove is the cats.

96 gt rear bumper 94-95 had exhaust half holes for the muffler’s. My favorite body style mustang though.
