      You mean the exterior doorhandle? Yes, it's practically the same.

    Hello again! Thanks for your answer, Now i know all connections of my instrument cluster, i have an LUPO TDI CLUSTER (NO CANBUS), but i have a problem, fuel level doesnt works correctly. Did you have this problema? Do you know to fix? Your level indicator is The same of polo 6N or from 6N2? Thanks

      Does the fuel gauge work the other way around? If so, you have to change the polarity on the sender or use the original sender. I litterally used everything from the 6N2 into the 6N. So the fuelpump, gauge, wiring its all 6N2

    Hello mate, amazing job on the build. I have a couple of questions i wanted to ask, i have a 96 6n 1.6 AEE and I'm interested to swapping AHW from a 6n2. Will the ecu communicate with the gauge cluster of the original 6n.

    • @juul222
      @juul222  11 місяців тому

      Thanks, I appreciate it. The 6N has a different fusebox to the 6N2. You'd probably need to modify the wiring loom for it all to work properly. I didn't do any modifications because I used all of the 6N2 parts and components for my swap, so it was all plug & play. All 6N parts and components ended up in the bin.

      @@juul222 Is it worth it to do the whole 6n2 conversion and is the AHW a solid engine, I'm between the 1.0 from another 6n and the AHW

      I got a 2001 donor 6N2 for cheap, it was more time effective to swap all at once. I'm happy with this engine, I'm not gonna lie. It's best to service the engine while it's out the car. EGR and crank case breather valve can give issues, so replace them just to be sure. Also, this type of engine tends to leak oil into the cilinders. So blue smoke is a big no-no.

    Hi!
    Why not afh 100hp?

    • @juul222
      @juul222  3 роки тому

      I wasn't looking for a swap. I literally found the donor car by coincidence. An afh would've been a better choice.

    Can you help me with connections of instrumént cluster. Im changing a cluster of Caddy TDI ‘00 (same that Ibiza 6K) to Polo 6N2 (like your Car)

    • @juul222
      @juul222  2 роки тому

      I would love to help but I have no experience with a cluster swap. I've used the original 6N2 wiring loom into the 6N so I didn't have to mess with the connectors, it all fit plug & play.

      There's a lot to take into consideration, too much to write down here. Mostly small things, but nevertheless very time consuming. It would be best to have a complete donor car. Are you on uk.polos.net? I have a topic there with more info. Glad to help if you need any info 😉

    The original 44kw 1.4 engine is much better than the later MPI 1.4 16V....they suck even more than the TSI

    • @juul222
      @juul222  Рік тому

      Mine wasn't, that's why I swapped it. The new engine isn't an MPI, its a AHW from a 6N2

      Yes AHW is the engine code. Its a 1.4 16v engine. I believe only the 1.0 and 1.4 8v had the MPI branded on the engine cover.

    Hey, what did you do with all the buttons and connectors? did you leave original buttons and connectors and just cut the wire below and just solder it with old wires OR are the connectors the same

    • @juul222
      @juul222  2 роки тому +1

      Connectors are not the same. I used the entire wiring loom from the 6n2 and threw the 6n loom away. I only depinned and used the 6n connectors for the licenseplate lights, the tail lights and turn signals. No cutting, no soldering.
