I appreciate your minimal and non-intrusive style of video editing. Watching the process of preparing a yamadori is relaxing in itself and doesn't need to be augmented too much by music or effects. Best of luck to your trees. I hope they grow well.
That low slung wheel barrow is an amazing idea. I’ve been selecting and collecting some larger yamadori (nothing as large as the subject of this video) and a wheelbarrow like yours is what I need to build.
I'm only start to use substrate when the tree is fully recovered from the collecting process then i'm starting to use half portion of organic granulated substrate and after that if the tree is responding well to it in maybe two-three weeks i'm giving a full portion of it. After that in the next year i'm using organic and osmocote nitrogen six month.
When you protect the trees from the cold with leaves, how do you know when you have to water them? (Granted its probably only a few times during the winter)
Leafes are protecting the tree not just only from cold, but also from spring heat. Watering is depending on the weather, so i keep checking the moist of the soil regularly.

Hi, beautiful piece. I hope the tree survives, it has great potential. What substrate do you use for yamadori? Thank you

Pakar tanaman bonsai
What land do you use with the yamadori? Great job!
It is gravel, pumice, acadama, lime, polistirol pearl. But you can use pretty much anything between 1mm-7mm grain size.
Jonapot kivanok...
Where in Magyarorzak do you live???
