Coloniality of Power

The series of seminars Bridging Institutionality and the Decolonial Debate brings, in a fresh way, aspects of coloniality (and its differences from colonialism) and how to decolonize. The central idea is to explain the action towards decoloniality - the decolonial movement, which is not simple, yet urgent.
The series is a partnership between a_Ponte and the Law, Development and Conflict Research Group, taught by Dr Angelica de Freitas, senior lecturer at the university of Westminster.
There will be 4 lectures, with the following topics:
1) Coloniality of power;
2) Coloniality of being;
3) Coloniality of knowledge;
4) Decoloniality.

Muito interessante esta leitura crítica sobre o projeto energético brasileiro. Fiquei pensando se os movimentos sociais, como os dos atingindo por barragens, dialogam, em suas práticas, com o pensamento decolonial .Ao meu ver sim, mas não sei se utilizariam desse termo necessariamente.
