Tbh, this is technically the first abridged in history. Whats even more funny was its a legit dub yet also an abridged. Strange shit like that Schorsomething cat.

The original show flopped in Japan IIRC. So the dub company got the rights reaaaaal cheap.
It's official. There's a story behind it. In sum, the anime bombed, the Japanese production company didn't care, and the dub cast was given free reign to do whatever they liked. So they improvised the entire script with dirty humor.
The one where they made that satanic pact was definitely one of the better episodes
VAs really saw the script and went: "fuck this" and tossed it out the window 💀
