The knives designs are cool and practical, but as usual the dynamic between Joe and David overshadowes all else in the video. Such a joy to see those two knife geeks together
@@trancedance7135Russell from Artisan/CJRB is awesome too! He is a true knife enthusiast and isn’t a knife rep just bcuz it is a job. He really loves knives and is a big collector.
Love Joe Flowers. I look forward to these videos every year and reference them throughout the year when getting a new knife. Condor has the best knife designs in my opinion. And their getting better every year.
I have never seen Joe Flowers in that "end of a show" exhausted state. Even like this, he has 10 times more energy than the rest of the crowds at Shot Show. Keep up the good work DCA and Joe!
We don´t use raindeer bones for knifehandles, we use their antlers. Raindeer shead their antlers every year so you won´t hurt them in any way by using it for knifehandles.
Condor...My favorite machetes, tomahawks, throwers (next to AceJet), and axes. Big big fan! Only thing found more in my collection than Condor is Cold Steel (because of price and less tears if ya bust it).
Crennelations are also on different crown moldings for interior decorating and add quite the geometrical touch for a certain renaissance feel and/or because they may compliment lighting, colors, etc. better than others. What's ironic is that they need a blade with smooth, laser fine, scalpel sharp saw blades to cut them properly as do other crown moldings to fit exact to get perfection when building someone else's home or business office. Great presentation David C. Anderson.
Joe Flowers is always the interview that I look forward too! He has such an infectious energy and personality. Joe is my favorite knife company rep. Great video DCA, Thomas, and Joe!
I like the Samicarta a lot and would really love it in 1075. I still might break my own habit a bit and buy one, usually I only settle for stainless fixed blades from Buck since they rarely use their 5160 but this knife looks so great that I might have to get one.
What was that thing with the dark green looking handle and big grey hawkbill blade at the top of the stand and on the far left of the table? Its not in the 2024 catalogue.
Saame /Saami reindeer drop their horn’s so supply is not endangered😊. Looks similar to 🇫🇮knive’s = puukko. Tool not novelty survival dagger with bell’s and Whistle’s 4:45-
Knives are a required part of a first aid kit according to FAA, coast guard, Homeland security, park service, And all commercial vehicle first aid kits. The Air Force states the knife must be large enough to cut through aluminum aircraft wreckage to make shelter.
Please put me on the preorder list for the sgian dubh knife! I’ve been thinking about having a custom maker make me something like this. I’m so flipping stoked that Condor is releasing this!!!!
Just a note, the sami people are not only present in Scandinavia but also in Finland, this area of Scandinavia + Finland is commonly referred to as fenno-scandia!
Niiice. The lady and I used to buy lots of Condors, they were all wood, high-carbon and leather sheaths. and like $20 lol. I bet should would like that Xero.
Not just a rep. He's designed much of the Condor catalog. And he spends time with the indigenous peoples who teach him their methods, culture, etc. He brings that knowledge into what he creates and passes forward to the rest of us
Serbia mentioned RAAAH 🇷🇸🦅 By the way, love to our Serbian friends they are killing it at ShotShow this year between Zastava and the knife makers. Love Goran, Mihail, Nemanja and Zoran works. They are doing such cool pieces.
I used to laugh at people buying orange knifes, until coworkers started to joke that I was going to go all "don't go to work tomorrow" due to all my tactical looking knives. I still prefer baby blue though
The knives designs are cool and practical, but as usual the dynamic between Joe and David overshadowes all else in the video. Such a joy to see those two knife geeks together
yes they ruined it.
Joe Flowers is an absolute treasure as a person, and one of my favorite designers to boot. Never fails to provide awesome blades.
There are two hosts that I enjoy especially at this videos every year. Karsten from Boker and Joe from Condor 👍🏻
Spyderco guy too.
Artisan cutlery as well
@@trancedance7135Russell from Artisan/CJRB is awesome too! He is a true knife enthusiast and isn’t a knife rep just bcuz it is a job. He really loves knives and is a big collector.

At this point I think we're gonna need a compilation of people walking in front of the camera lol
It's SHOT they care about pews not slicey.
I dig this friction folder! An alternative for Svord Peasant.
The Condor vid is the one I look forward too the most from Shot Show. I like a lot of there designs and then there's Joe.

I wear my kilt when i go into the woods all the time. That Scandi Dubh would fit in perfect with my Seax.
🤣
CAN'T WAIT for that bushscot! Apparently it comes out mid/late march and I'm stoked for it!
Allll I wanted to know… I’ll be getting one for sure
Condor always brining some nice homage pieces for an excellent price. Beautiful pieces too.
That short machete is my favorite of the new releases.
I've owned several Condors and they have always delivered excellent bang for the buck. Beat on 'em, no worries !!
Props to condor for sticking with that 1075. Great steel.
I like classic carbon steels.
We don´t use raindeer bones for knifehandles, we use their antlers. Raindeer shead their antlers every year so you won´t hurt them in any way by using it for knifehandles.
Great show 👍👍👍👍👍
What knife is the second from the left ?
This little friction folder is fantastic, I must have it.
Joe Flowers is a National Treasure.
DCA and Joe - having a great time together!!
Joe is just absolutely the best

The word I think he was going for was parapet.

Joe is always fun
What is that Ginunting looking blade in the background and far left of the table?
Wheres the condor trog knife and when is it possible to buy one? Im waiting sinve 6 months for that thing.
Really loving those smaller knives
I always look forward to DCA talking to Joe. Always a good time.
Until now, this year, in my opinion, Condor is the only company still coming out with useful and good-looking knives.
I’m going to have to buy that Sgian-dubh. Have been waiting for one of these made into a serious knife and not just decoration.
Joe Flowers fantastic! That puukko yeah!
the flat grind on the latin machete will be so sick for cutting! nice design!
Joe is the real deal. His forum posts from almost a decade ago now are great, definitely “one of us” haha
What about the big choppers?
Condor rocks!
that kombo reminds me of a sloyd knife a lot, like a full tang sloyd
The kukri blade why you didnt review it?
what green watch is DCA wearing? Seiko?
Love that pioneer blade!!!! Just might have to be my first Condor purchase. That's if their quality control has gotten better.
Love Joe, always a great video, and you DCA

Love thr friction folder!
Condor should do a Canadian Belt Knife.
i thought they did before but i could be wrong. i may be thinking of cold steel
Coldsteel did it@@jeremycrowe4693
Been waiting for this one 😄 this is a yearly occurrence that I love
I love Condor's 1075, I'd rather have it than any stainless any day.
I own a Condor and it's a good strong durable knife.

Yes but the TSA won't let us take a Swiss army knife on a plane....

So I have a Condor kukri does that have a lifetime warranty?
Showed everyone apart from the one i wanted to see which was the machete to your right the kukri style by the looks of it
I like the convo knife a lot too
Why don't they extend the guard on the condor fighter to improve it's tactical usability and distinguish it from kabar's bk18??
Condor supremacy 🙏😩
Wish I was there!!
Joe is a Legend
Man, when does the new condor gear become available ?
I'd call that XERO a recurve spey blade. David? Thomas?
Joe is my favorite interviewie. David trying to rain him in is like watching someone herd cats.
My condor bisonte is the best bushcraft knive i had so far
You now it is the end of a show when you see all the fresh cuts on the hands, lol. Nice stuff I will be getting from Condor again.
Niiice. The lady and I used to buy lots of Condors, they were all wood, high-carbon and leather sheaths. and like $20 lol.
I bet should would like that Xero.
I kept hoping you'd get to the big ones on the left.
I need that Scanidoo
One of the first Utili-kilts I saw was the Rabbitstick gathering in 2007. Yeah people bushcraft in kilts
MF's build stages in kilts, if a person wears a kilt they will do what ever in a kilt.
Joe is always a kick, broke the mold with that man.
Joe what happened to your left hand?
It seems like a tradition with you every year on shot show😂😂
Mr Powers, sorry about that flowers I am so glad to see you're stepping up your steel that just I can't begin to tell you how that makes me feel😅
Good.
Just got the "Urban edc Puuko " in 1095 a week ago. Loving it! Joe hit this one out of the park!
Condor seems to have a lot of scandi grind models.
Dear Joe, Please, please, PLEASE bring us a stainless version of the Bush Glider. I'd buy that in bulk.
You don't hurt deer when you pick their sheds up off the ground. Antler handle doesn't mean they chopped up a deer to get it.
CONDOR : the worst heat treating of the hearth
That condor rep loves his job.
Not just a rep. He's designed much of the Condor catalog. And he spends time with the indigenous peoples who teach him their methods, culture, etc. He brings that knowledge into what he creates and passes forward to the rest of us

Lovely wee skein dubh though
that bushscot could be a real hit.
Joe Flowers is the man
I used to laugh at people buying orange knifes, until coworkers started to joke that I was going to go all "don't go to work tomorrow" due to all my tactical looking knives.
I still prefer baby blue though
Jasons got one hell of a voice, he should do some voice acting
I hope all product from condor knives make 1095 steel 😁👍
We should consider ourselves lucky we get to live in the same day and age as Joe Flowers!!!
