🙋♂️Hey there @@lahazri! EPS files are easily opened with Adobe Illustrator, but in most cases not everyone has access to this program. As a workaround I would use something like this www.fviewer.com/view-eps. There are other options out there, just google eps viewer online. I hope this helps, and thank you for the support. @@UBMD It is true, it is hit or miss depending on the upload. I uploaded a water paint logo and it did not transfer to vector well at all. But it worked for others. Still great advice and great 👍🏾

LOVE this. It is SO appreciated. One question... What if we can't get our logo to black and white? The elements I chose in Canva have gray to add dimension-and it's making things very difficult.

Hi there UBMD! When designing logos like this in Canva where you incorporate art from their library, are clients able to trademark it? Or do you have to alter it a certain amount? Thanks!
So sorry about the wait Miles! I completely missed your comment and just now saw it on my dashboard. Based on their terms of use it would seem like you cant, but I've seen so many people do the opposite. If I were going to use an asset from their library I would do my best to alter it or buy something thats royalty free on another site and upload to Canva.

Hi! Thank you for your useful video, I could finally understand what vector graphic means! Just one question - if I want to have my logo in white, is it okay to colour the font white? Should I colour the background then black or something else? I hope you can understand my question 😅
Hello Tiia, I’m happy you learned a thing or two from this video. As for your question, I believe you want your logo all white. I’m just not sure if you want it on a transparent background or a solid background.

I wish this would have stated you need Adobe Illustrator to use the Vectorization before I did it.
Hey there DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy, I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I've been away from UA-cam for a while. There are many free sites and programs that allow you to edit vectors. You don't need any Adobe products to edit the converted logo.

Hi Sanela, to tell you the truth I believe the SVG option was before my video. This was created for users who did not have a premium Canva account, but wanted to convert their logo to a vector based format. I'm sure I was late to the party 🙃.

If you want to make the logo in color all you need to do is export it as is. No need to change everything to black. Then you would upload to the vector and convert it in color. It might not come out so great, so I would suggest playing around with it till you get something that could work.

While I don't have a specific alternative site in mind, I would recommend conducting a quick Google search for a free image to vector site. You should find numerous options to choose from.

how can I change the colour? i wanted a vector file that can change the colour of my logo. will I be able to do so with the eps file?
Thank you so much for your support Lavya! When you convert the logo into an EPS you can change the size and the color of your logo. The only down side is Canva does not support EPS files. You would need a program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape which is free.

I've made a logo for a school event. I don't have Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. I'm pretty happy with the logo design but I'm afraid that the logo would be required in Ps or Ai default format (.psd or. ai). Is there any way I can convert my Canvas file into these formats without the respective softwares?

Hello Madara! If you have a Canva Premium account you can download a SVG file of your logo. This is for the most part a vector file and should be good if you send it to a printer.
If you have a free Canva account you will have to convert your logo image into a vector. Just like I did in this video, but the results really depend on the complexity of the logo.
You can signup to a free Canva Premium account and just download the logo. Then cancel the subscription once you’re done.

Sorry to hear that Rifqi. These converters work well when there is less detail in the design. The more detail the more the converter will produce a not so great end result.

Thank you for this. My question is.. I am using Adobe Draw to create illustration and transfer it to canva, however while converting and saving it from Adobe draw it is not staying as a vector. Any tips or any other apps I can use instead of Adobe Draw. Thank you
Hi Samantha! Thank you for taking the time to checkout my video. This is a really good question, and one that I had no answer to. I did some research and found that although Adobe Draw does work with vector graphics it does not allow you to export as a vector. I've never used this app so I'm not 100% sure if that is true.

Hey I animated a logo on canva but after downloading by MP4 format the video got blurry tried everything but can't fix it any suggestions kinda new
Hey there! Sounds like there could be a number of issues, but below is what I would try doing. I would also double check the resolution and quality of the elements being used.
Create a new project and make the video file 1080x1080 or 1920x1080. Then create the animation again and scale everything up. You might have made the canvas size small which would product a low resolution video.
See if any of those solutions work. It might even be that you’re using a Canva free account which only allows you to download a lower resolution video.

Hello enChanted Princess Castle, I always convert the logo to black as the results are better. If you have some color in your logo you could just import that in and the vectorizer will do it’s thing. Im not sure how well it will work for your logo or graphic, but play around with it and see what works best.

Hey man, loved the idea but it didn't work for me unfortunately I don't know why I can't preview the vector and when I click on it opens in photoshop and asks if I want to rasterize the logo. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a way to convert a regular JPG logo into a vector?
Hey Anderson! There are a whole bunch of similar websites that do just that. Depending on the detail in your logo you should get a decent result.
You could even use the site in this video and just upload the color version of your logo.
Also if you don’t get great results I would suggest heading to fiverr.com and just have someone vectorize your logo for cheap.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to convert these into vector files. Depending on the complexity of design you might be able to use the website above and just export your Canva design with color. The site can convert with color but it produces some crazy results from time to time.

Helpful but just more “good enough” mentality. Design logos in Illustrator or Corel. Then bring them into Canva.

I believe you're asking if you could pay someone from fiverr to produce a vector file from the Canva image. In which case, yes you sure can! You might even get better results depending on the person doing it for you.

Why this super complex logo was really well vectorized but it failed miserably to vectorize a simple icon of a mouse ? this video is fake
Hey there Crazy Coder, believe me the converted version of the logo had flaws. If your icon of a mouse was low quality the converter will push out garbage.
I suggest messing with the converter settings and maybe finding another site that might produce better results.

I just wanted to show users who don’t have a Canva Pro account how to convert their logo from a png to vector format. So just a little work around if you didn’t want to pay for the premium service.
