Fun Fact: this video was uploaded LITERALLY the night before my AP World History exam in high school and it deadass helped me remember stuff I forgot would be on the exam. I love this video, it's a work of art.
You almost forgor 💀
Luckily, the video made you rember😃
Araling panlipunan?
School am I right
Ok
End of the video: "By the way where the hell are we?"
Start of the video: "Hi. You're on a rock, floating in space."
The loop goes on forever
I never though about that
Sadly the outdo thing
Fun fact: The Morse code at 21:39 says, "SEX LOL."
5:44
So basically, the tectonic plates are pro-Team Aqua. Noted.
That was my thought too XD
He's wrong but I guess
It wasn't the plates moving though. He misunderstood that.
Human migration isn’t due to tectonics, it’s just regular walking, sometimes with the help of ice bridges during the ice ages.
At most the continents have only moved about 9 miles during human history, I.e. 2-5 cm a year
More technically, ice ages created land bridges by lowering the sea level. Tended to be a better way to travel than just using ice.
I hate that you used Imperial in the first measurement and metric in the second
hey why is my 60 million year old sea side house now flooding which was 7 miles away
Fun Fact: the "Intermission" part in Japan is a reference to an older video made by him.
This video is amazing! The hisory of the entire world... I guess is amazing too.
Idk maybe decent
Hisory
Hey Patterrz, I have a question for you. If you have a flat and need a lift are you a stranded American or a Lazy Brit?
Take all the time you need.
OK this is a really good joke
@@shadebinder3599 Thank you mate. I wish I hadn't been introduced to it because it won't leave my head, but thanks nonetheless.
I was there for that stream! Can agree that this is a really good video. Bill Wurtz is such an amazing musician!
5:43 team aqua be like to groudon perhaps i judged you too harshly
*That video gave me more information than my entire social studies year of studying.*
"Does anyone remember that the US had the Philippines?"
Yes, Pat, very vividly. But does anyone remember that before that, the Philippines was colonized by Spain for 333 years? Or that during WW2 (probably), it got brutally rekt by Japan?
As a Filipino, I forgor 💀
Yes! More reactions to this video!!! Love watching these.
"Was there ever a not terrible ruler of Russia?" WELL that was that one polish guy that conquered Moscow. Dunno if he was terrible, got sliced up and shot out of cannon pretty quickly, but prob least harmful Russian leader
And that one German chick.
Wow, that’s incredibly rude =_=
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out History of the World animated to Dedede’s Royal Payback, such a fun summary of this summary of the world!
Earth Review: 7/10. Too much water.
I hate to say this Patterrz, but before this guy there use to be Brainpop in the 2000s, and that site use to teach me a lot more stuff and it was fully animated, and it kept my attention throughout the entire thing. it wasn't crazy editing or none of that stuff like this guy did, it went at a nice pace and it didn't feel slow or gone too fast, and it was informative just enough about that certain subject, they also recommended other videos if you wanted to learn more about a specific subject. Which is how I learned film and tv shows through one brainpop video. So before 2016, Brainpop use to be the shit I use to watch back in middle school. And before that, UA-cam for me was where it was made for entertainment, not really education. And before UA-cam it was VHS and DVD players with CRT small TVs to learn in school, based on what the teacher was teaching taht day. And yes, they did have projectors, but it was hooked up via VGA and had a separate speakers inside th projector for sound.
I'm surprised you did a reaction video on this! I like this video so much! Don't know if you will react to history of japan. Kinda similar to history of the world.
pat: can i complimen the uk
the uk: heehee colonization goes brrrr
" 'Let's save the planet!' said everybody, not knowing how." That line goes hard.
I literally watched this video for the first time last week. Glad I get to watch it again with one of my favorite poketubers
4:24
Fun fact: Someone made a-song/music using the “The Sun Is A Deadly Lazer” line a LONG time ago, and it’s actually pretty good (in my opinion), though it could use a bit of a remastering if I’m being honest here, and I think all/some of the people who have also listened to it would agree with me.
Edit: After posting this comment, I’m now realizing that this video is 9 months old (which means you might not even seen/acknowledge this comment), but what I said was true, so all I can do is hope you see it.
I got a friend who’s a history geek so I’m absolutely showing this to him.
I love watching Bill Wurtz when I'm uh... not sober.
It does gloss a bit over what was going on with the aztecs and incans and the whole american colonization, but that's fine.
What I'm disappointed is in the fact that it skips my favourite part of Spanish history: that one time the French went "Hey, guys, can we march our army through your country to attacks Portugal?" Spain said yes and the French decided to just park their army in Spain and take us over. For like 2 years before the Spanish kicked them out.
The biggest thing I'm sad wasn't mentioned was that the US didn't actually ban slavery, they just made it require state permission.
I learned so much from this and actually made sense
I'm so glad this is also your favorite video on this platform pat. As much as I love your vids, I'm sure you understand
this never get old
its old as aged fine wine
Patterrz just explained the plot of ruby and sapphire
🎶the sun is a deadly laser🎶
12:06 How is that So PERFECTLY TIMED!?
Don't you dare be
BACK TOGETHER
I understand that the GB next to the UA-cam premium means Great Britain, but every time I look at it, I think it’s UA-cam Premium:Gameboy, then I think Luke hacked Pats PC and he’s trying to get more subs. I know my mind is weird😂
2028 is closer than I would imagine. Maybe I'll see the thing inventor inventing the thing inventor
I like how when Pat said he’s getting nostalgia from the video the video said how 0:25
5:44
Nah, just that the tectonic plates had a REALLY messy breakup.
I loved this video and the reaction
21:51
We only outlawed it 30 years after the uk did, while I agree we did it hundreds of years to late so did the uk.
america: 1865
UK: 1834
france: 1848
germany:1537
spain:1811
polis of athens: 6th century BC
Iraq: 2019
russia: 1720
so the real hero’s here are the polis of athena and germany I guess
also the list is from what I can tell just a general time because a lot of countries banned different slavery at different times, like how rome banned christian slavery from jewish people in 590 but banned general christian slavery in 741
This is also one of my fav videos!
I re-watch this video like twice a year, it's that good
4:24
Well, this is one way to edit a video
How very interesting, fascinating and informative.
i watched this 5 minutes after it came out. I had the bell on forever
Amazing reaction😁
😊
The sun is a deadly Lazar
Can't believe we're here because of space dust
I like how it speaking like it was serious
Patterz the moment it got to the mad stuff like The Renaissance and the Spice Trade and so on I started to react the same really.
He should watch the history of Japan if he hasn’t yet
when watching this ive never noticed that he called the grenade an "exploding pineapple"
Nice vid pat
I think everyone just visits that video every once in a while as a ritual lol
“Dumping *British* things-“
You sure that uh, tea, didn’t come from somewhere else?
Fun fact: im currently writing a google doc about the history of the entire world based of off information in this video, currently one page 4 when chirstopher columbus “discovered” america
This Video Single Handedly replaces History Class in High School
6:57 my man spitting some bars right here 💀
love how through out all this Canada never gets mentioned once
Fun viking history fact: The vikings kept mostly if not only white slaves (since there were mostly just white folks around), and sometimes the slave could earn their freedom. The vikings cared a lot about honor and strength and that jazz. Well at some point, all the slaves were freed and after some generations, it was almost impossible to tell who had descended from slaves and who had not. Skip to today, it is especially hard to tell, no surprise
I remember learning about this a while ago and found it intriguing since i am a norseman, so might have gotten something wrong or explained something wrong, but it was something like this
Patterz you should Watch extra historys series about genghis khan
As a Jew, I can say, like ALL the Jewish holidays are just, “People tried to kill us, but they failed. Lets eat!”
I mean that sucks but it’s also pretty funny
@@obi-wankenobi7041 it sucks what my ancestors went through, but for me, it is DELICIOUS food.
Also, in general grievous’ voice:
General Kenobi
Jews are like The Metal, they cannot be killed.
@@kaelanmcalpine2011 it’s not they CANT die, it’s more that they don’t ALL die.
You are reacting to my fav vid and it's also your favorite vid
18:13- look up Catherine the Great, probably the best Russian ruler ever
8:24 if you want a ton of gods, might i recommend shinto with it's 8 million gods?

19:55 this aged so well look
My favorite video on the platform is “borderline forever”.
The sun is a deadly lazerrrrrrr 4:14
the tectonic plates are a part of team aqua
Question when does video needs an update
We did it! we solved the world let's go!
5:47
Soooooo... Team Aqua?
Fun fact I would put this video on at school but since he swears the teachers would tackle me
You used to be able to walk everywhere! And then the Tectonic Plates were like "Dude, that's cringe. We want, like, ocean everywhere, because water is super cool. Land? Not so cool."
So basically Team Aqua
Groudon do be trolling humans
A classic
This reminds me, you should watch Davey gunface's pokemon vids. They seem up your alley
It skiped the USA financing dictatorships all around Latin America, but I guess that doesn't matter anymore and there are no consequences
Well Napoleon didn't actually invade Russia during winter...
I actually used this video to help me with a science project.
Can anyone juat aknowlage that us filipinos just absolutely destroyed 3 countries with no armor and just swords and spears
He should react to the time lapse of the future
24:24 oh boy, can't wait to see the comments on this one 😃
18:14 Mikheal Gorbachev
Bill Wurtz is amazing
You should react to Jay Exci's video on 5 minute crafts
Really, because in my school is actually a history thing. I remember watching lesson history and it was hilarious every single time.
From the stream
Good russian leaders that I can think of
Are Peter 1, Catherine the great and oddly enough Gorbachev if I remember accurately
Yeah, those were definitely quite awesome.
Big city's are near water for transportation of goods.
8:23 Actually, YHWH (god of Christianity) was one of many in a previous religion called Yahwism. At some point, he was extracted, placed at the head of a new religion, his female consort erased outright and the other gods of his prior religion recast as demons. And the new creation myth went like 'Humans were perfect but then some woman fucked up' (original sin, Adam & Eve)
So Christianity was and still is a tool of autocracy and sexism.
I do because I live in Philippines
1:51 I would agree but remember it has slurs
My house is a few houses away from water
you should watch kurzgesact
sorry if i spelled it wrong
18:25 What About Gorbachev He Was Nice
2:32 you mean Vine? this guy was a Viner. thats why his editing style is like that. his youtube channel is full of his vines and they’re all 1-30 seconds. he has some longer ones like this, the history of Japan, and his songs
I remember us colonate Philippines it's on our history subject
8:13 Mikhail Gorbachev
Huh wow, this is a VERY new video
If you like history I recommend the channel Oversimplified great channel
