But I don't think either of those statements are actually true. Yes, you have to sleep 8 hours at some point during a 24 hour period, but a long rest doesn't need to be made entirely of sleep. It can be just light activity. (Hell, according to Xanathar's Guide, a character can spend short or long rests working with their tools to make stuff). Nor is there anything stopping a character from doing multiple long rests in a day, if they have the time to spare. There might be additional consequences for spending so much time doing nothing, but it's not an illogical feature of the rules.
Not sure if anyone is still reading these comments, but sneak attack is once per turn not round, so Tom should have gotten it for his opportunity attack at 1:24:00 since it was a different turn within the round. This is supported by Sage Advice
You only get one turn per round, and your reaction is TECHNICALLY part of your turn (see held actions). A turn consists of an action, a bonus action, AND movement, with a single reaction triggered outside of your allotted turn. For example, you can't perform an action AND hold an action, because they are part of the same turn. This coincides with game mechanics in the PHB and DMG
Stop nerfing crits =\ All dice are doubled. Divine Smite, Spell Smites (Such as Thunderous Smite), Sneak Attack, etc. If those things aren't allowed to crit properly you're really hurting some classes. Especially paladins. On another note not all frighten effects force the victims to flee. They all don't allow the victims to move closer to the source of the fear but unless the effect or spell specifically states they have to flee they do not. Third, sneak attack is once per turn, not once per round. So if Tholschank does it on his turn then gets an opportunity attack on an enemy's turn he can do it again. Next up is Necrotic shroud damage. Kim added it on both her attacks in one turn. It's once per turn on your turns. So unlike sneak attack it cannot be used on an attack of opportunity.
In regards to Sneak Attack, I believe that turns=rounds, once you used your SA, you can´t use it until your next turn. Also, attack of opportunity is a reaction, I believe, so you can only ever make one, and no other reactions.
