Top tip for you. I have a massive collection of 2 piece hockey stick/shafts.
Wether its the top of shaft or bottom, wrap it in hockey tape near the opening, about 3 widths high.
As for the handle or blade, same, use the hockey tape, wrap the extension or blade about 3 widths high.
So when the 2 objects meet together & it forms the messy glue on TOP of the hockey tape you wrapped.
Once the glue dries, remove the tapes and you will have ZERO glue mess on either shaft, blade, & extension. The dried glue will be on top of the tape not on your beautiful stick,blade or handle💪🏻👍🏻

@@lpb3731 meaning the width of whatever hockey tape you use, wrap down 3 steps or more. It s all personal preference, especially if you’re really sloppy with glue, then I would tape the shaft pretty good so you don’t have to clean the glue off the shaft, it’ll be on the tape. And then peel the tape off and trash it.

The composite extension do cost quite a bit more like $6 for the wooden compared to $35 for the composite.
In the Uk the price gap between the two isn't that much :) You can get a composite extension less than $20
Hi! I’m not sure so i prefer ask I have a intermediate Bauer vapor 65flex stick and I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use a vapor jr or a senior extension, or a Bauer nexus intermediate/junior50 extension? Thx!
We would recommend to use a senior extension ✌️

I have a warrior supernovium sr, it’s 60 inches should i buy the warrior stick extension, or is there a specific one
A warrior one would 100% fit in it but also if you can’t get one of those then a Bauer one would slot in nicely too!
What composite extensions would fit an intermediate ribcore tigger 7? And will a hairdryer work to fit as I dont have acsess to a heat gun 🤣
Thanks for the question. You maybe there for quite a while if you were to use a hair dryer, definitely go to your local hockey store if you have one and I'm sure they would put one in for you, it doesn't take long. We find either A&R Int Wooden Extension, Bauer Senior Vapor Extension, Warrior Senior Extension or a True Senior Extension would work with it.
Hey what brand extensions would fit a ribcor trigger 3d. Would kt have to be a ccm one?
Can you confirm what size/flex the stick is? Plus has it been cut down?
I use a ccm stick and use the Bauer extender and it fits fine

Great question, it depends on which Bauer extension you have…but it might not sit flush in the shaft as slightly different shaft shape. If that’s all you have then you could always use a little tape on the extension that is going into the shaft.

The glue is already on the stick extension correct?
Yeah many extensions already come with glue, can confirm Bauer, True, A&R, Warrior and Howies Stick extensions come with a good amount of glue 😃
Will a hairdryer do the job?
No, just tried with a hairdryer, the glue didn't melt.
If i messed up, can I do it again with a glue gun?
Yes, it’s the same stuff really
