Perfect inspiration for the Cult of the Dragon in my current campaign. I liked "We will -probably- never see him again." When the King Killer comet steaks across the sky my players will learn that necromancers never truly die.

That… is an idea I have never thought of… Psionic casters using their a abilities to heal the psyches of the adventurers, brilliant honestly! Might jot that down for a side game idea or in my current game! Hope you don’t mind if I steal it from? Lol
A party to fight Sammaster must be super high, like 20+ Not to mention he probably would have 1 or 2 Dracoliches at HIS party, among other Dragon abominations and undeads.
I can understand why Mystra picked Sammaster to be one of her chosen this Mystra was lawful neutral and it's not the first time the goddess of magic picked a spellcaster to be her chosen who is evil Larloch was a chosen of the first goddess of magic Mystryl and the newest goddess of magic even offered Manshroon to be her chosen but he turned Mystra down and later regrated it
Psionics? Um... no. TSR couldn't get it right, even after they made an entire campaign world featuring it. It's been scrapped and tried again at least three times now, and I'd never trust WotC to come up with mechanics for mental abilities, when half of them can't even choose between two genders.
Hehe, right, but I liked some class suggestions on psionics in Unearthed Arcana. They could give it a chance once again! Good addition to role play part of the game.

Yeah, thats good point. No mater what they do, if they push the research of magic and weave forward - that will do
