@@freshprinceshaun again not excusing any other year, but seeing how most of his team literally gave up on their home court that last game, it's hard to put THIS series on him. That mixed with him losing Curry and Drummond, there's little he could do as a coach implementing a new system around a guy that doesn't care anymore in 3 months. Got exposed. Yes he's talented, but he definitely lost a bit off his step and the refs aren't letting him jump into people so he can shoot 25 free throws a game. Half the time he attempts a shot without the intention of making it, all he wants to do is draw conctact and the refs don't normally fall for his antics in the playoffs.
@@chrisa6592 it's not that he isn't talented, but it's undeniable that the D'Antoni system and the previous rules favored him. He's just not the same player since those factors changed.

James hasn’t been performing consistently since about two years, crazy to see him decline so much within a short time. A superstar should not get 11 points in the playoffs!
Dude, we did not expect Harden to be like Ben Simmons in the second half. And let's not compare Harden to Iverson who was 6 feet tall player with 100% effort all the time driving into the trees. I've never seen a guy play so well in the first half, and then just stop playing in second half. That's so strange. Maybe not as strange as Simmons, but really strange
He does have a point that iverson was known to not train a lot in the off-season. Great player, but I wish him and someone like Shaq worked a bit harder.
@James Black it's not strange to go 4/7 for 11 points in the first half, and then completely stop taking shots in the entire second half? That's really strange regardless of Harden's previous no shows, he at least took shots.
Points in the 2nd half last night: 0 - Ben Simmons 0 - James Harden Ben Simmons and James Harden attempted the same number of second half shots in Philly's last two elimination games.
Miami is the dark horse of this playoffs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win the title. They can beat the Bucks/ Boston if Lowry is healthy and the rest of the team helps Jimmy… they got almost the same team that played in 2020 Finals and they got great defense. I don’t even have the Suns reaching the Finals. It would be interesting to see a Heat-Mavs rematch again
Here’s what’s happening. Harden balled out. The fans gave him no credit then they turned on him. So now he’s finally thinking about himself. That’s what’s happening. Good on him.
the only reason harden was "unstoppable" was because he took advantage of the rules. No judgment, any good player should do so. But after they changed the rules, he could no longer look for the foul and had to actually try to make a basketball shot, not his circus "hopefully I get fouled" shot.
Sixers wish they had kept Jimmy B and Big Al, just imagin Jimmy B, Embid, Big Al, Maxey, Thybulle. This team would have surely won a Championship🥇🏆. A defensive Jaggurnate.
Idk. The great numbers, the MVP award, consistently being an MVP candidate, the All-NBA selections, the All-Star selections. Say what you want about his playoff resumé, doesn't mean you can question his inclusion on that list.

Only thing I can say for Doc is that they looked like Conference champs before the trade and gave up defense and bench points. Can't do much if your "premier scorer" can't score. Still could've done more as a coach but THIS year, I'm not putting this all on him.
@@dougmcravion4470 doc rivers hasnt been out the second round in 10 years..... let that sink in
@@freshprinceshaun again not excusing any other year, but seeing how most of his team literally gave up on their home court that last game, it's hard to put THIS series on him. I'm a Heat fan and went to all three Philly games. We mostly built leads with Harden turnovers and Maxey disappeared in that last game. That mixed with him losing Curry and Drummond, there's little he could do as a coach implementing a new system around a guy that doesn't care anymore in 3 months. Spo and Pop had years like this too were their stars looked like they quit

@@corinthianharris2 okay now. Is he worth a max contract for Harris 😂😂😂.
I said it for years. Harden was only good because he flopped constantly and got calls. It made it hard for defenders to guard him because the amount of calls he got. Now they can actually play defense on him he's trash. I said it all along lol
Yea I been saying that too it’s kind of disrespectful the way he and trea young plays
Yup, injuries aside... his stats started to decline when the rules changed not when he got hurt
Ughh u can't flop your way to 36ppg. It's just not possible. He's unclutch and out of shape. He's washed but let's not go crazy lol
@@chrisa6592 it's not that he isn't talented, but it's undeniable that the D'Antoni system and the previous rules favored him. He's just not the same player since those factors changed.

So crazy last season it was can we get ben to take 1 shot, now its like okay we got harden and he took 2 shots. Wtf
4:31 Mick Jagger is probably in better shape than Harden. Saw him in concert a few months ago and dude has some insane stamina
Bro I swear dude is a machine
The nexy day mick jagger is being offered a $20million ddollar contract fo play for the sixers. Imagine this
Everyone remember when Skip tried to make the argument (with a straight face) that Harden was higher on the all time list than Steph? Lol… 😂😂
James Harden it goes back even further. He was a no show in the 2012 NBA Finals. Of course off the bench at that point but still
Harden’s worst series is probably this one and in 2017 against the Spurs when he dropped 10 in a closeout game against no Kawhi

James Harden didn't give a Damn about the game last night, this is who he is, the only thing that surprised me is that he scored in double digits.
Dark horse? They are the number 1 seed in the East.
We’re the 1 seed how are we a dark horse? Cuz casuals don’t hype us up?
@Frank Lopez They had the 5th best odd at the start of the playoffs and only just +100 behind GS and Bos.
James Harden is a quitter. Been quitting for years now. Houston knows this very well.
Exactly Bro
They wouldn't have Maxey tho..
@@motorcycleartist Ya, true.
Even the 2019 Philly roster could’ve got it done. Its just that Kawhi outplayed them, but they were extremely talented and firing on all cylinders.

That never came out.
How tf could u know that? Stop the cap

Since when was this?
How is James Harden even mention in the top 75 players of all time given his playoffs flameouts with 4 different teams?
Idk. The great numbers, the MVP award, consistently being an MVP candidate, the All-NBA selections, the All-Star selections. Say what you want about his playoff resumé, doesn't mean you can question his inclusion on that list.
All those years of trusting the process led to two straight years of historically humiliating post-season collapses...

Jimmy Butler is SOOOOOO petty!! He is making it known to the world that the 76ers choosing Tobias Harris or him was a grave mistake.
The 76ers have disrespected their fans for so long that "The Process" shouldve been named as "The Disappointment" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's not petty, that's fact. He said this last season, and Sixers didn't choose Tobi over him, they chose Simmons and Brett Brown. Tobi was signed after they knew Jimmy was going to leave.
It was indeed a mistake, but we all thought Simmons would become a great player, instead he became a worse player, it's hard to predict that
@@chimaebinama3192 no it isn't. Simmons was never an all around scorer like Butler is. Butler is an old school player that will call you out for not playing well......and people ripped on him for criticizing Simmons. Butler was right about him and he is laughing at them for it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The only time James Harden has actually done something in the Playoffs was back when he was in OKC. He doesn’t want the center of attention, but also wants to be the main guy in a team. Lol

The rules changes where players can play real physical defense in which James Harden can't go to the rim anymore or hand check him in the perimeter. It's crazy that James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant use to play together and now they feel the physical defense like in the 90s for the first time in their careers.
Kd beasted all season. He just had one bad playoffs. Westbrook and Harden are just declining. They’re in their mid 30’s
It's never about miami being good. It's always because someone else was playing bad.
Definitely the sixers played bad
Sometimes a team plays so bad it highlights the losers.
There was one play where Jimmy Butler got his own rebound and then made a 3 and was like "WOW". I bet that wow was for the lack of effort and defense.
Yeah Harden be playing the statue defence. It would be great if teams start refusing to pay guys who have bad attitudes and don’t want to play hard. He opt out and his best offer is 25 million not 47 million. Whoever pays that kinda money is paying 47 million to ensure LOSING.
I'd like to think the Heat had a lot to do with Harden's lousy performance, but sure, let's just say that it was more about Harden being terrible.

The whole show was about the losing team. The Heat was the #1 Seed. They are supposed to beat the 76ers.
I'm a Rockets fan and I have felt the same way Shannon is talking about with Harden, great during the season and a flop during playoffs. Every team Harden has been on gets infected with the Harden virus and can't make it through the playoffs. Golden State showed how weak Harden is in the post season, a lame duck! He gets paid all this money and for what? Houston should have kept Chris Paul and gotten rid of Harden. I mean look at Chris when he went to the Thunder and now with Phoenix and look at Houston, Brooklyn and Philly when Harden joined these teams.
