Thank you. Having followed this video I've been able to open the tailgate, clean and lubricate everything and it's now working perfectly. I was expecting to be faced with a huge garage bill and a lot of inconvenience, so I'm delighted with the result.

thanks for the tip on how to open the boot.Once mine was open I sprayed the moving parts with a silicone spray and is now working fine

Thank you! That was useful. Now I know my lock is stuck and it's not electrical. The wee 'switch' twitches when someone tries to open the boot from the outside, but it won't unlock. I have a feeling this is going to be an expensive thing to repair.

I cant ty enough for this wee video... Ive been looking for a few weeks now on how to open the boot of my wifes Corsa from the indise..I bought a new micro switch and fitted that...but still no joy the fuses and relay are working ok

good help with the video, but my lock is not open from before, its locked. Button for opening trunk is fine and you can hear it works inside but the lock it somehow locked and wont open from inside or outside :(
