Couldn't agree more. Smaller developers were able to take a chance on random titles and they worked. Nowadays there's too much a stake if a game flops

Just joined ghetto gang this month, glad I can finally do just a tiny bit in keeping this channel going because watching your collection journey really reignited my appreciation for physical games. In rookie numbers but just started collecting my first 'sets' - PS4 Hits and Xbox 360 Classics, but the late-gen best sellers that had just the silver top banner and silver badge rather than the full grey covers. Really tempted to start on the green best sellers as well though.

As a fellow 360 collector I always love your videos on the system. There’s definitely a lot of obscure titles out there that people won’t be aware of I know I wasn’t until I started collecting for the system a few years back. It will take you down a rabbit hole that’s for sure.

Saw a bunch of awesome Wii and PS2 games today at my charity shop. Bought them for £8, got £28 back. I bought a new microphone with it and I'll be restarting my podcast Active Quest.

As a collector myself, I couldn't care less what my collection is worth. It is probably worth more to me, than it is in actual money.
I have a few really expensive titles in the collection and a few really cheap ones. But as long as I like both games, they're worth the same to me :)
I'm not going to sell any games anyways, so the value does not matter. When you only collect the expensive titles because they are expensive, the motive to collect just becomes more hollow.
Edit: I like Damnation... I have it for Xbox 360 and PS3 ;)

you alright lads, proof i watched whole video. im checking discs before i leave the cex stores now, yesterday had metal gear hd collection checked the discs looked like edward scissor hands been playing with it.
My favourite system of all time - good shout on the Warriors games! Those style games made by Koei tend to go up in price! I collected all the 360 warriors titles as well as the PS3 ones as they have some system exclusives :) Was a blast and I managed to get them all back in the day or when they were still relatively cheap :) Great vid as always and would love to see another like this!

Just got back from a pawn shop run and wow I was lucky, all 360 games for $3 Canadian! Dead or Alive Extreme 2, Bad Company Gold Edition, FEAR, Mirror’s Edge, Afro Samurai, Venetica and Black Ops. It’s finds like these that keep me going on the hunt!

Singularity is a must buy on the 360/PS3. (Based on the FPS games you picked up in this episode). The weapons are fun to use and the mechanics manipulating the environments is basic but fun aswell.
And of course the Cave shooters, they are removing them from the Switch online shop (storting with Mushihimesama) and if you want em physical its either LRG Switch version or 360 version.

The strangest one I own that's jumped up is Velvet Assassin. The setting is interesting but no-one batted an eyelid at it for 15 years 😂

The value of your collection is crazy I'm at just under 1000 Xbox 360 games and would never of thought it was worth that, especially when I picked up the majority of my collection from a local Cash Gen for £1 a game a few years back.
I do enjoy these videos they are good for the value of games in my collection but not so good for me for the ones that I need.😅
But yeah it's a fantastic system to collect for and they do display so we'll on the wall!

This was a fun concept. A great way to find true hidden gems, or perhaps just a bunch of cr@p. Still, its fun and worst case you resell the bad games.
I had a soft spot for Turning Point, same as I did for Homefront. I think it is the alternative history stories too. Turning Point won't blow you away but it's worth a play.
Worked at Gamestation from 2008-2013 and have memories of all of these games on the shelves without ever trying them. Always thought Damnation looked cool but i was young then and only played AAA multiplayers games with friends. Agree that the cover art of some of the 360 titles is just top notch
When you pick up games, have you noticed the increase of disc rot and laser burn, especially with og xbox. I just wondered do you check them?
Turning point sounds like an absolutely fantastic premise. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the best game ever because it's only a pound but I think I'll check out a couple of reviews.

Another great video that has cost me more money 😂 I have been looking at Deadpool for a while but never see it with a manual, is it one of those games that just didn’t come with one? I know it has one for the ps3. I just bought Konami classic vol.1 on the 360, mainly to play Castlevania symphony of the night, it’s NTSC but apparently plays on PAL
Deadpool is also on Xbox One if you are looking for a better version of it!

I imagine that Universe at War is set in 2012 due to the '2012 Phenomenon' and some people thought that the world was going to end because it was the last day of the Mayan calendar or something similar.

Found some real gems this way.
Lately I've been hunting for ps3 Move compatible games, like Sorcery or the Sports Champions games.

I bought a copy of Ninja Blade for Xbox 360 today on eBay. It's CIB, in excellent condition and cost me £15. I saw another copy sell on eBay the other day at auction for over £50! I checked my records from 2-3 years ago and Ninja Blade was selling for around £3 back then. The speculation bubble on Xbox 360 is crazy right now!

Unless the front cover of Soldier of,Fortune Payback was reprinted I don't think it was actually an NTSC version as those don't have PEGI ratings on them.
Damn, Wet for xbox 360 is now £12 at CEX? I bought it for £5 from CEX just a few weeks ago. Crazy how game prices jump!

You should have brought the 1 copy from cex and then if it had the manual swapped it out and returned your copy you brought 😆 you get the postage back too so it's win win lol
Please put a spotlight on Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. It’s the cheapest game in the franchise but it’s probably the best or atleast top 3 with wfc and foc. ROTF has an awesome transform / jump mechanic mixed with climbing buildings. Multiplayer was super fun back in the day aswell. Criminally underrated prices.

Cex has now put Manuals with the expensive Xbox 360 games. They have done it to all the ones that are out of stock and the most expensive. They will do the same to ps3, once they sell out of the ones without manuals. They are so crafty, so what if you have a £100 Xbox 360 game without an manual, they now won't buy it? yet for past how ever long xbox 360 has been out, they were selling them without the manual.
The Might and Magic and Warriors games are fun from what I've seen/played, but you may be disappointed with Damnation and Turning Point - I played both briefly when I worked in QA, and they're... lacking a little polish, to put it politely. 😆

A little gutted I traded my copy of Warriors Orochi 3 for like £3 a couple months ago. I paid £3 for it maybe a year ago from CEX. How is it now a £10 game?! 🤦🏻♂️🤣

I soley play on 360 ans Series X, and collect only games I actually play. All my games are CIB and I priced them up on eBay sold listings last week. My spreadsheet tells me I am in profit but even more compare to when I checked last summer.
If you like games with alternative history or different take on shooters , try Homefront. That has the United Korea invading USA. Not quite alternative history but gives a different theme rather than being the American superpower again.
When me and my mates worked at game, we all bought that game when it came out…..2 hours later we all went back to work to return it for full price lol but worth it for a few quid. The shooting is terrible on it though, be warned
Might and magic game is so good! Unfortunately the 360 version suffers with gamebreaking bugs no matter what you do! PC version is Flawless though!
I have around 400 xbox 360 games I started buying them about 3 years ago. I still have the CEX invoices because I did click and collect. Some games I picked up for £1-4 are now worth £20-30. It's INSANE. It can't keep going up like this it's not sustainable.
@spamburger222 yeah huge increases, I used to have a series of videos urging people to buy games like Fatal Inertia when they were just a few quid

Weirdly enough as I watch this video I have my Xbox 360 playing universe at war with my pc to grind out an achievement for playing 75 hours online. There is also a broken achievement you can only get by using the pc version. Random UAW info dump 😂
