Another material Tumble weeds, vast quantities of it. and it sets up hard. I've used it for horse barns. It's almost indestructible.

Great and very informative video! Does anybody know or has anybody tested making light clay with a einkorn wheat (Triticum monococcum) and how or whether its qualities differ in terms of making LSC or COB?

I'm thinking of building on a post/pier foundation so I have two questions: The first is how much the wall would weigh per cubic foot, so I would know what kind of placement I would need for posts, and what size the beams would need to be. The second question I have is a little more adventurous: do you have any thoughts on how straw/clay would work as a flooring insulation?

He said 1 cubic foot contained 6.5 lbs straw and 6.5 lbs clay, when the water had evaporated.

Most informative video , but you started to lose me towards the end when you spoke about shearing and the overly complicated equipment. No doubt necessary if doing this as a business but for someone building their own small house ? How did they do it 700 years ago in that sample you showed from Germany, surely they had a simpler way

This is a great video with very worthwhile information. I do not see very much interest in this video compared with, for example, a miley cirrus video who receives millions of views. No offence, next time find a model to speak scantily clad or something of this nature. (not to take away from the male speaker here, but this video deserves more views.

I doubt people interested in this valuiable information, would be inclined to watch it if they saw a scantily clad Miley Cyrus was the presenter.
