People are buying 4th generation becoz its more economical as the lowest variant of 5th generation I.e. V model comes at an on road price of around 12.20lacs. And I believe that’s a good strategy to target premium buyers as 4th generation will target users having max. Budget of 10lacs.

Studies show CNG (mainly methanol) causes higher wear on piton, piston rings, cylinder etc. Though wear is marginally more, over say a 1 lakh km, it will have a significant impact on the engine.

CNG is a big myth, i have droved my dzire 72k on CNG so far & no issues with it.
Because that is dezire which is a tincan due to very light weight thats why it doesnt feel power issue
