dude from where you started working on bikes to where you're at now really is something. keep it up you're doing great!
Repetition is how we master tasks and gain knowledge(what/how its supposed to be) and experience (what to do when it's not right). There are no "hacks".... only good work and bad work.... we all do bad work...till we learn to do good work. Keep up the good work, Flip
You've probably figured it out by now, but there's a ton of pin pushers you can buy to remove and reseat those molex pins. The hardest part of any repair or refit is finding the right tool (that you don't know exists until you see it)
JP helps me keep my Shovels on the road. Hope they will start setting up a European warehouse as shipping costs are brutal
Yeah, Itchy Boots really rocks with her motorcycle adventures! Man all the kilometers she's been riding all over the world, and I really mean ALL OVER the world....especially on (narrow) paths and roads you could barely ride on the begin with.... What Itchy Boots does with her motorcycle, all by her self by the way, is sometimes near to impossible:
Heavy rain, Hot sunshine, Freezing cold temperatures, heavily muddy roads, deep sand, Jungle rides, you just name it! She now is in Series 6.... and several years on her way to see it all.
You should go check her out man...
It was so cool to finally meet you last Sunday. This bike is going great!
think about replacing that peanut tank with a larger 4.5 gallon tank, so you can get more distance riding and less stops at the stab and grab....
Flip, you made that process look easy. Your awesome my brother.
Deep calming breathes man 🤘🤘
I just replaced bars on my dyna. Now I got to do it on my cvo. I enjoy watching these videos. I use JP all the time.
🖐 Flip Na
Looking good Brother even the best Of us get in those spots just keep swimming bro
I am really curious to see how the wiring comes out? Can you do a "Lessons Learned" video when you get the wiring sorted?
you got it buddy
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s Flip
the clip where you are talking about what one needs to do the job , the bars looking really good. i understand getting frustrated, i lack patients myself at times. you got it though and it looks good. good vid man
Thanks for sharing. It's good man, my background is electrical, understand!
No shame admiting defeat. That is a very hard and tedious job, and when you are pressed for time, it's even more difficult.
I only kept going because I didn't have the money to pay to have it done, and I dsidn't have any close by friends to help me. So, I just kept telling myself to "Take your time" and FINALLY it worked.
Mine was four carburetors being totally rebuilt and re-jetted. Taking them off and putting them back on was the hardest.
Slow but sure brother, Flip.
peace
Jake the Garden snake explains how to on electrical connections with blade connections
it's like watching myself work on shit. Glad to know i'm not the only one who makes things more difficult for myself. Btw, you spelled Sportster wrong in the video title.
great video flip
You can do this!
Thanks for keeping it real, I've been wanting to install mini apes on my 08 1200 Sportster Custom, this helps 👍
You are far too hard on yourself, if your not making mistakes your not learning. You've come a long long way from where you started. Knowing when to stop is the hardest part when it comes to working on anything.
Just keep plugging away. ( pun not intended )
I swear, watching you is like seeing the inside of my head in a mirror. It ain't pretty, but it is the only thing I own that can't be taken from me. Dagnabit.
Keep on. Sitting on your butt won't finish that project, after all.
I gotta go take a nap now...
do you have a repair manual for this bike? if not, get one. it has step by steps for this stuff. even the best prepared plans get messed up sometimes.
Cool intro. LMAO!
Your prep tips.......you forgot the most important tool......beer.......
DEFINATELY !!!!!
Damn that song loop on the first 14 minutes was annoying! 10 second loop for 14 minutes 🤦🏻♂️
Loved it ! > From N.W.Ga. Riding '95 Road King
